On our return journey we booked this hotel based on a recommendation and were very impressed. We stayed in the guest house 50 m from the main house. Very nice, very friendly, very nice, large rooms. We really liked the kitchen. We are happy to recommend this hotel and will consider it again on our next trip.

Hello, we (luckily only) stayed in the hotel for one night. The reception was friendly. The rooms were a disaster. We booked two double rooms and one single room. We got a room with two single beds and a room with a bed and an uncomfortable sofa that was also slanted. (My back thanks me)The cleanliness was okay. We had four spiders in the room and the bathroom wasn't clean either.Breakfast was standard but that's fine and you don't need anything more.But for €125 I expected more like that. I can get better hotels for less money.

Ideal in every respect!The Gasthaus Hotel Egger-Stüberl in Schechen near Rosenheim is worth every recommendation.Geostrategically absolutely brilliantly located between Munich and Salzburg, near Lake Chiemsee and within easy reach of the most beautiful destinations in the Eastern Alps.The Egger-Stüberl leaves nothing to be desired in terms of hospitality. The restaurant is typical of the country and offers everything your heart desires. When it comes to accommodation, you can choose between hotel rooms and apartments.And the innkeepers are simply great: they are not only friendly and please everyone, but they are also flexible when it comes to special requests. Last year they naturally helped us to safely store a motorcycle transporter on the hotel grounds so that we could set off on a longer motorcycle tour from Schechen.We will be back !

A very cozy guest garden. Compliments to your service staff. The kitchen was also very good. We still have the opportunity to come back tomorrow and eat the chanterelle cordon bleu again.

We visited to have something to eat whilst we were camped nearby and would say we got a frosty reception.. We were told kitchen was shut so had a beer and 20 minutes later a couple were brought a pizza

Exposed location in town, within walking distance of the train station, good price/performance ratio. Relatively loud due to the local traffic passing in front of the accommodation!
