Extreme caution is required here. The ladies have come up with a particularly interesting method of making money. She sells entire 2-bedroom apartments through booking.com. When you stand in front of the door, the holiday apartment suddenly becomes a double room. If you insist on booking, she gets extremely angry and sends you off the property. She doesn't care at all about the written booking confirmation with the exact description of the holiday apartment. After further discussion, she even threatened to call the police. I've experienced a lot while traveling. But that was the absolute highlight so far.

Very nice, clean guest house! Each room had a spacious bathroom with toilet. The double beds were clean and comfortable and were made daily by the landlady including towels. We felt very good and can recommend it. The owners made a nice impression and gave information about restaurants and sights. Thanks again, it was really great

If you want to stay inexpensively and well in Papenburg, this is the right place for you.Modernly furnished, clean rooms, uncomplicated handling, nice owner.Modern kitchen, which we didn't use.WiFi, TV available in every room and in the breakfast room.The mattress was too soft for me, but I don't want to rate that negatively. Everyone lies differently comfortably.You can quickly get to the shipyard by car. Is located a little outside the city center on the canal. But with a bike (there is a rental shop opposite) you would certainly be able to get to the city center quickly.The breakfast was plentiful and fresh and tasty. Requests were addressed.There are enough restaurants in the surrounding area.If I visit again, I would stay here again at any time.

Very friendly landlady, completely uncomplicated transaction. Unfortunately, breakfast is only available if you stay longer than one night. The rooms are cozy and chicly furnished, restaurants, bakeries and bicycle shops (!) are within walking distance. Beautifully located on the canals in Papenburg.

Incomprehensible! First an offer is made, then there are fewer rooms available than booked and in the end, shortly before arrival, you are asked to book somewhere else. Customer service? But not here!

Were there for the fourth time now. It was great as always. We like the location, not in the “new” Papenburg, but in the “old” one. Great location for cyclists. The “von Velen facility” is also worth seeing. The rooms are spacious and clean. I can sleep very well in the beds. The breakfast is absolutely top. A beautifully laid table with everything you need for a good breakfast. The bikes also find space in the locked garage. Highly recommended.
