A nice little place, with very accommodating staff.Unfortunately, the dog beach is a bit too small; only the dog can get into the water. There is no possibility to lie there with the dog!An opportunity for dogs to run freely (enclosure) is missing.Otherwise, there are always options for adding weight to poop bags.Can definitely recommend the place.

A parking space and campsite that can be recommended at any time. Everything (supply and disposal, toilet, shower, WiFi, etc.) is available and at moderate prices. The employees are extremely friendly, competent and helpful. The cleanliness of the facility and the (sanitary) facilities is remarkable.In the bistro “Kiek In” you can eat and drink well and cheaply with friendly service.The campsite has wonderful old trees. This means that you don't have TV reception at all seats.Thank you everyone for three great months and see you next year!

We stood on the pitch in front of the campsite for 2 nights. The groundskeeper was very friendly and helpful. Sanitary facilities are very clean. Shower cubicle spacious. Facility very well maintained. The small restaurant on site is recommended, the food is very tasty. Conclusion I can only recommend this place. Meyer Werft 15 minutes by bike.

We spent a few days here as a “new camper” with the caravan and were totally thrilled! The staff are super nice and accommodating, the pitches are very spacious and the entire complex is very well maintained and inviting. The price-performance ratio is great, the sanitary facilities are very clean, the location is perfect for cycling tours and walks... We will definitely be back and would be happy to recommend the campsite!

The best camping place I know!!! Shower and electricity included. WiFi top 👌And there is also a small restaurant with good food. There is a discount store in the immediate vicinity.

We were at your campsite last week.When we arrived the receptionist was super friendly.Checking in was really quick and afterwards there was a lot of good information about the campsite and activities in and around Papenburg.The parking space at the campsite is really spacious.After we had settled in, we looked at the sanitary facilities and the dishwashing area. The toilets and showers were very well maintained and clean. This over the entire time.The sink area was always extremely clean.We immediately felt at home.However, this changed on the afternoon of the second day. Just in time, after the reception closed at 4 p.m., the (we don't know exactly) "groundskeeper" started mowing the lawn on the unoccupied parking spaces with a ride-on mower for two hours. This was extremely annoying and disturbing. Especially since this mowing operation could easily have taken place between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., when hardly anyone was there with their motorhome or caravan.All of the surrounding campers were just as annoyed as we were.The campsite team has a great notice in which they write that their philosophy for us campers is to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, to slow down, to feel good, to enjoy, to relax, to relax, to just let it be, just nothing do, have fun, chat meaninglessly, read, play, get new strength and energy from nature.Unfortunately, this was not possible on the second and third days when we returned from our excursions at 4 p.m. We then decided to go home on Thursday evening.Another note, it would be nice if you could collect the grass clippings and not leave them lying around. Then the cut wouldn't stick under your shoes and you wouldn't take it with you into your motorhome or into the sanitary facilities, where everything had just been cleaned really well.A very positive thing to note is that the multi-layered campsite, with its offerings in addition to normal camping, also offers tiny houses on land and water for guests who are not traveling with a tent, motorhome or caravan, and also has a holiday apartment above its own restaurant . The WiFi works excellently the entire time.

Great place with spacious parking spaces. Sanitary facilities clean and well maintained. The showers are very large and spacious. Just great. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back again.

Nice campsite a little outside of Papenburg. Registration is quick and easy. Sanitary facilities are clean and good. However, some places are very uneven and muddy when it rains. There is a small restaurant on the square with a simple menu, the food is good and the price is OK. By bike it is about 4.5 km to the city and 2 km more to the shipyard.

Campsite on the edge of the city of Papenburg. This is easily accessible by bicycle. Large pitches with sun or shade. Sanitary facilities are neat and clean and shower cubicles are nice and spacious with a separate sink. No hassle with coins or cards, just take a nice shower. You can also order sandwiches. Very friendly staff. There is a bistro opposite the reception. Please note that the gate is closed between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM. A surprising environment with much to see and doAlso beautiful cycling routes, you can get a map of the junctions for free at the reception. A beautiful place

Very nice houseboat, comfortably furnished with everything you need, even air conditioning. The bistro “Kiek in” prepares delicious meals. We took a short vacation here and were very surprised and will definitely come back.

Very nice, quiet campsite. Spacious pitches with meadow, hedges, trees, electricity and water. Swimming lake and fishing opportunity. Friendly staff. Restaurant available. Dogs are welcome. Sanitary facilities are ok. Shop/bakery in the immediate vicinity. Papenburg is easily accessible even by bike. The 3 days there were worth a stopover.We would be happy to come back.
