Hotel & Restaurant Berliner Hof

The C.Zeit certainly left its mark, but I definitely can't understand the many negative reviews. The staff is very friendly, the hotel room and sanitary facilities are very clean and the price is unbeatable. Our company will book here again.

Our recent trip took us to the Hotel Berliner Hof and we are surprised by the positive experience we had there. This hotel does not deserve the sometimes negative reviews and it is a pleasure to share our experience with other travelers.A year ago we had already booked seven double rooms and three single rooms for 17 people. As participants in the 5th Thuringian Miners' Day in Bleicherode, it was important to us to find accommodation centrally in town. The Hotel Berliner Hof was a hit for us and so we booked the appropriate rooms in good time. But then the first doubts arose... Several fellow travelers had read the reviews, some of which were negative, and were therefore skeptical.From the moment we entered the hotel we were greeted by exceptionally friendly staff. We were given special parking permits for a short-term parking space near the house that required a parking disc, so we had no problems with tickets.The cleanliness of the rooms at the Hotel Berliner Hof is good. The bed linen was fresh, the beds were comfortable, but a little too soft for some people. It was evident that the cleaning staff work extremely diligently to ensure that guests reside in a comfortable and clean environment.We also couldn't complain about the breakfast at the Hotel Berliner Hof. From freshly baked bread rolls and a good selection of cold cuts, cheese and jam to healthy fresh fruit - there was literally something for every palate to enjoy. Breakfast together in the hotel dining room every morning laid the perfect foundation for a successful day.In summary, our stay at the Hotel Berliner Hof was a thoroughly positive experience. The exceptional friendliness of the staff, the exemplary cleanliness of the rooms, the quality of the breakfast and the reasonable prices make this hotel a recommendation for every traveler looking for accommodation in a charming ambience. We are grateful for the wonderful time we had there and hope that future guests can benefit from our experience. Yes, it is an old house and some places could use a little renovation... but does the house retain its charm?A word to the authors of the negative reviews.If you have 5 star expectations, then you should choose a 5 star hotel. Speaking people can be helped. We always had an open ear for our concerns, no matter how simple they were.I was in every single room in my travel group. I couldn't smell a musty smell in any room. Maybe. We benefited from being able to open the existing, modern insulating glass windows with very good noise insulation.

Great, cozy hotel with nice owners, as food is only served to order, excellent food was cooked especially for us at reasonable prices. I would love to come back ;-)
