The best short vacation of the year, we have loved coming here for years, like a second home. ☀️☀️ When you arrive at the Charlet, you take a deep breath and feel good. For our daughter, the highlight was the ponies. When we arrived, the first thing we did was go to the ponies and rabbits. The hosts Sandra and Hendrik are such warm people. Take the time to talk together and laugh with the guests during lovely hours.The team is also just great all around.We'll be back, that's for sure. We rented the cuddly chalet suite for 4 days in March. The name of the suite simply says it all. This describes very well the loving and warm-hearted facility. We were very impressed with the suite, we didn't miss anything. From checking in to checking out, everything went smoothly. The breakfast offering was outstanding and plentiful. We particularly liked the use of local products. We went on a hike directly from the chalet - the trails are beautiful. I would also like to thank the staff, who were always available to answer questions and concerns on site and provide help and advice. We can only recommend the Chiemsee Chalet and would come back at any time. Perfect for a few relaxing days.Definitely a 5 star rating.

"Fondue evening"Four of us were in the chalet on a Friday evening. The room, the table, the entire ambience made you feel comfortable from the first moment... arriving... almost coming home.From the first moment we were warmly welcomed, everyone was very attentive... it was just very, very pleasant.The table was stylishly set and the evening began immediately. Mulled wine and gin and tonic as a welcome drink... the tomato soup (an absolute poem!) was excellent... the fondue itself fit in seamlessly, everything was there... and the chocolate cake at the end was the icing on the cake of a wonderful evening!The most important thing: the attention of the hosts and the entire team was absolutely great. Casual, relaxed... but very professional. Careful but not intrusive. The atmosphere in the “dining room” was simply homely, and yet special."The ambience"Simply “chalet”. The restaurant, the hallways, the look... everything conveys the feeling of "time out" and alpine hospitality without being intrusive.We didn't see the rooms, but we assume that the concept continues 100% there too."The Hosts"Warm, open, attentive... very pleasant people.The same applies to the team.We felt very comfortable with you and wish you many more guests who have a great time in the chalet.In our opinion, the Chiemsee Chalet is a 100% recommendation for... basically everyone who wants to experience something special. Whether a lovely evening with fondue... a special holiday in Chiemgau in a wonderful ambience... "You decide!" :-)

A fantastic stay in a fantastic location. There's really nothing missing. Starting with the welcome (in advance by email with the most important information), to the very good facilities of the chalet, to the amenities of the house (parking lot, self-service bar, cellar bar, pizza oven). We'd love to come back!

The soul manages to switch to feel-good mode in the first few minutes. Great view, nice welcome and friendly service, the rooms were ready before 3 p.m. The furnishings of the very cozy cozy suite are comfortable and the sunset from the balcony is phenomenal. We actually wanted to do a lot more, but were so impressed with the resort that we wanted to spend as much time there as possible. We were particularly impressed by the service of the Heinzelmännchen breakfast, which was secretly, quietly and quietly served in the room in the morning. We will definitely treat ourselves to a break in the cuddly suite again and are already looking forward to it.

For the first time at the end of autumn we treated ourselves to a break for two in the Chiemsee Chalet on the Bavarian Sea. From the first minute we felt at home and were able to leave our hectic everyday life as parents behind us. Last but not least, our hosts Sandra and Hendrik and the incredibly good smell in the whole house contributed to this.Our cozy chalet was furnished with great attention to detail. And that comfortable bed! Oh, we haven't slept so well in a long time. 🥰 The absolute highlight, however, was our own sauna in our suite. The crackling fireplace created a romantic atmosphere.On one of the evenings we were able to enjoy a 3-course Tartarenhut menu in the Favoritenplatzl by the open fire: each of them was simply terrific and provided a real taste explosion. The lukewarm chocolate tart with a liquid center was the icing on the cake of a wonderful evening. Sandra and Hendrik were present the whole evening and read our every wish: more service and more taste are rare to find!Breakfast was brought to the chalet in the morning by the Heinzelmännchen and left nothing to be desired.Now we were there for the second time and were welcomed just as warmly as on our first visit. In addition to all the highlights, we were happy about the snow. It snowed on the night from Friday to Saturday. There was suddenly over 40 cm of snow.Chiemsee Chalet is a pure oasis of well-being and a perfect place to slow down and recharge your batteries! 🤎

Beautiful and highly recommended! Inside and out, the Chiemsee Chalet is beautifully and modernly renovated in the style of a Chiemgau country house. We particularly enjoyed the high-quality sauna and the fireplace in our own chalet. Hendrik and Sandra and their staff are really great hosts. Very warm and full of life. We enjoyed the very private atmosphere - this chalet is the opposite of mass tourism. Every morning our table in our own chalet was set with the finest breakfast and one evening even with dinner.Thank you for the great stay, and see you soon!

We were here from November 4th to November 8th, 2022 and were thrilled.I have to honestly say that the photos are completely true and it looks exactly the same.But what you don't see in the photos is the welcoming and warm atmosphere there, from the employees and owners.We were really perplexed by the entire property, the peace and quiet and the privacy.The rooms are perfectly prepared, the staff bring breakfast to the room so quietly that you can't hear them at all.The view is a dream.The long walks in the forest, the peace and quiet there and when you get back you just hop into your private sauna and enjoy the warmth.You can end the day with a great dinner there and then just curl up on the comfortable sofa and watch TV, next to the warm fireplace of course 😍If you're completely tired, you'll sleep even better in the perfect bed in your bedroom than at home.You can't say anything about the cleanliness.We have never seen such clean rooms.Perfection reigns there.We'll definitely be back.Greetings to the great employees.Marina&Before

We were unable to go on holiday due to illness. We were told by telephone that 100% of the purchase price, which had already been paid in full in advance, would be credited to our next holiday. This was wonderful, even though we have travel cancellation insurance, a good feeling.Unfortunately, we were disabused of it today, there was no more talk about the telephone agreement, and you would now graciously credit us with 50% of a later booking. What can I say, this business behavior speaks volumes, I will never enter the house, I will not read the subsequent statement with different reasons, but I can assure you that it is not true, true to the motto dogs bark, I will end this review, It's a shame, because it started well and with understanding. So I can only give 0 points, sorry, but that's not possible, otherwise you can't send it. By the way, only my second assessment in my entire life... just to reinforce the fact that I only ever see the good in people...

Breathtaking location, great service, peace and quiet, lots of delicacies, nice conversations, everything the ❤️ could desire.Sandra & Hendrik gave us a wonderful BBQ evening with great food, wine, liqueurs and hearty laughter. We will remember this holiday very fondly. Keep it up 👍🏻
