We stayed at this campsite on route to Italy from the UK, and really enjoyed the time there. It was just what we needed after lots of travel - somewhere quiet, surrounded by nature to rest a while.Andy is so incredibly kind and helpful, and at €15 a night it is still the cheapest campsite I've stayed at in 8 countries!The camping field had a compost toilet and electric hook up point, and we were able to fill the motorhome water tank at the farm yard.We spent our days reading books, painting, and roasting marshmallows on a fire very kindly provided by Andy.If you are looking for a simple, quiet place to connect with nature, I fully recommend staying with Andy a while (He also speaks very good English).Andy gave me the great advice of visiting Luxembourg (30 minutes drive) to fill up the tank with cheaper diesel. Always useful advice on a long road trip, and the Luxembourg town of Echternach was a very charming place to refuel and get some groceries.Thanks so much Team Waxbrunnen, we fondly remember our days with you!

A great "back to Basic" campsite!As a group of friends, we were looking for a quiet campsite where we could have a drink around a campfire in the evening. So we were not looking for a child-friendly campsite with an entertainment team, but a quieter and more spacious one.We were lucky and were the only guests on the field that weekend.Very nice owners who come for a chat in the evening.The campsite currently has limited facilities (only a dry toilet). This was not a problem for our short stay, but something to keep in mind for longer stays.In short: a great campsite with very hospitable owners!

Very nice and friendly folk! They helped us unstick our vehicle from the mud (twice even!). Pretty good location. Extremely quiet. Has horses. And very importantly: They let you build a campfire. They even provided wood and came by a few times to check on us and our fire. We didn't have time to check it out, but it seems there's a nice forest to walk through nearby too.

We really enjoyed our stay with Andy & Mary! We received a super friendly welcome from Andy and were allowed to choose our own spot on the large field. We planned to stay here for 1 night, but because we enjoyed it so much we ended up staying three nights. Andy gave us several nice tips for things to do in the area and the area is beautiful!Andy & Mary we would like to thank you so much and we will definitely come back!Ps. The red wine was delicious!

Super beautiful area. Lots of nature, forest and paths. For hiking, walking and relaxing.You can camp and relax on a beautiful, large meadow with horses as neighbors.I really enjoyed it and will 100% come back. Thanks for the hospitality.

We arrived and were greeted by our host, Andy. As we were the only ones there we could choose whereabouts in the field we wanted to pitch our tent. We found a lovely spot and settled down. Andy popped by later to check we were ok and very kindly brought us a bottle of wine!The only facility available is a compost toilet, but it is well maintained and clean and we weren't looking for anything else.A beautiful and peaceful campsite, in a lovely part of Germany. Fantastic hosts and we will definitely be back in the future

Great place to unwind and spend time in nature. We really enjoyed the days at the Eifel meeting and had a lot of fun. We wish Andy and Mary continued success. You have a great spot there, we would love to come back 😊🙋🏻♀️

Nice team, friendly service. A great parking space for the night in typical Eifel surroundings. It's definitely not the last time I've stood here. Ideal for off-road enthusiasts and 4x4 trucks. Normal campers might want to order an off-road upgrade here first before coming to visit. Andy and Marry make sure you feel comfortable in a rustic atmosphere! A guest room is available and mini houses are planned. Simply great for outdoor enthusiasts and off-road fans! Thanks Andy and Marry!
