Unfortunately, today's visit was more than disappointing. Six of us were there for dinner at 12 on Sunday afternoon. The seating arrangements are posted at the entrance, no “Hello”, you have to find your own seat - sometimes not ideal for a first impression.The hall we sat in was very crowded and loud. Service seemed a bit overwhelmed throughout the entire visit and was unfortunately not particularly polite. Unfortunately, the dishes didn't come together but three times, several minutes apart. The trolleys used for serving are very reminiscent of a canteen mixed with a retirement home. I had the feeling that customers were being processed as quickly as possible. The goose we ordered in advance, which we came specifically for, was unfortunately tough, but the side dishes were average but good.Last but not least, we had to wait 15 minutes and ask twice before we were allowed to pay.Unfortunately that was nothing today. My grandparents and I won't be coming back in the near future.

Extremely clean room, smelled fresh from the hallway. The room is large and was equipped with everything you need. We stayed for one night but wished we could have stayed longer. We had breakfast which was varied enough to have something for everyone.

We sat for 20 minutes without service. Sunday after noon, 1: something.Map looked good, but be careful:NO snacks, only cooked food.No problem for Sunday, but you have to know

The “Alte Wirt” was recommended to me and I have to say that it even exceeded my expectations! Delicious food at a fair price and the service was excellent too! Gladly again 👍

With wonderful weather, we were comfortably laid out in the beer garden. Although it was very busy, the service was very good, friendly and competent. The food was extremely tasty, the best quality meat, excellent preparation! Everyone enjoyed it very much. We'd love to come back.

Traditional family business with high demands on its own cuisine. Finished products probably have no chance here. Whether dumplings, salad or sauce: everything is fresh, homemade and carefully seasoned. A visit is worthwhile.

Beautiful, owner-managed hotel. The host family is very helpful, friendly and accommodating.The room was very large and modernly furnished. The only thing that wasn't very good was the WiFi in my room.The breakfast was absolutely fine and was supplemented with fresh egg dishes (on request).Unfortunately, the inn was closed during my visit. But the meal will definitely be made up.

We've been going to Mauern for decades and have never been disappointed with the food. Regardless of whether it's an asparagus buffet. Cabaret evening or just Sunday lunchtime is always a pleasure..
