Great holiday farm! Just the thing for our horse-loving children! In addition to horses, there were great activities for the children during the autumn holidays, such as apple picking followed by juicing and baking pancakes. We were also able to carve turnips, after which we had a delicious vegetable soup cooked over the fire.The house was also really great, rustically furnished, everything you needed was there, even a few games and books. Very lovingly designed.The area is ideal for hiking, Teufelschlucht in Irrel is not far away and in Bitburg there is a great swimming pool for rainy days.

My 6 year old daughter and I stayed at Haus Butterblume for a weekend. The house was very spacious and equipped with everything you need.My daughter had a lot of fun helping out and riding. Many activities can be booked in advance.The location is great too! We took a trip to the Biturger reservoir (nearby) and to Trier (approx. 30 minutes drive).The Eifel Park can also be reached in about 20 minutes.All the people were very nice and helpful.We will be happy to come back and had a very nice and relaxing weekend!

Everything is relaxed here: the area, the river, the people, animals - again, happy! Great for relaxation

We stayed at the Nengshof with two families for a weekend. The Mullein holiday apartment was very large, beautiful and well equipped. There was a lot to discover at the farm and the riding offers (relaxed horses, suitable for beginners) could be easily booked online. What particularly fascinated me was the impression that all the animals here are well cared for.

We visited the Nengshof with nine people and stayed overnight in Haus Sonnenblume.- In normal day-to-day farm life (mucking the stable, feeding the animals, caring for them etc. etc.), we were unfortunately not integrated at all. Or rather, that wasn't possible at all.That was a total shame for us because the children were really looking forward to it and we thought that was normal on a farm.Unfortunately, apart from cleaning the horses, there was nothing else that could be done.-The rides cost extra. Unfortunately there was no suitable horse available for our little daughter (2.5 years old) because all the little ponies were sick. And she didn't dare ride a big horse. It has to be said that the distribution of the horses before the guided ride was very uncoordinated. For the most part, the horses were simply given to the parents to guide them without them having any experience with horses and sometimes even being afraid.- The owner was always friendly, but always short and seemed very stressed. He did a lot on his own and we felt like he lacked staff.-The play barn was very dirty, everything on the mats was full of bird droppings (I don't think it's possible to find something like that in a play barn) and the rest of the toys were almost all very dirty and some of them were old.- The playground behind the Sunflower house was so overgrown with grass that you couldn't use it. The meadow was only mowed at the end of our vacation.-The Sonnenblume house was clean and nicely furnished. However, the mattresses on the first floor are completely worn out. Both bathroom doors (with glass at the top) (only a wooden sliding door at the bottom), so you never have complete privacy in the bathroom. You can either look through the glass from outside or you can hear the slightest noise down behind the wooden door.-The WiFi almost never worked in Haus Sonnenblum or the connection kept breaking off. There was only WiFi reception upstairs at the reception. I informed about the problem, then it only worked for a few hours.There was no other reception either, well a vacation without a smartphone also has something positive :-).-The circular route is really very beautiful, but unsuspecting we set off with the buggy and somehow carried the buggy up the forest with my husband and brother-in-law. I also had problems with my little daughter so that we wouldn't slip.- We did a lot in the area. The Dino Park and the swimming pool are really great👍🏻-Unfortunately, we were all very disappointed with the Nengshof and will not come back or recommend it to others.- I really would have liked to give a positive review, but I documented our experiences honestly.

Idyllic farm in nature. The houses and apartments are located in the village within walking distance of the farm.

Great value for money!Went there with a small group (adults, children and dogs) and everyone had a lot of fun!Thanks again for the lovely carriage ride!

We spent a short vacation with our grandchild on this beautiful farm with great animals, a play paradise for children and a team that is super friendly and includes you wherever you want.The apartment was very clean and nothing was missing. It was a very nice stay,which was far too short and we will change it next time.We felt completely comfortable, thank you very much for that.......June 11, 2024We were on the farm with our granddaughter for the fourth time and are already looking forward to our next break surrounded by super friendly hosts, including their team.
