The inn was our stop on a bike hike on the Milsebergradweg.Even though we were there earlier than planned, we were warmly welcomed by the innkeeper. Bikes were safely stored and - although a coach had been announced at short notice - everything was shown to us and we were also given our “run-in beer” on tap. Dinner and breakfast were very good.

After I discovered that another inn that I had actually wanted to go to for lunch was closed, I stopped there. Everything was GREAT!!! So I was able to continue my hike to Elters in pleasant weather. Certainly also a good address for a stay of several days.

We spent a week hiking in the Rhön in August 2024 and stayed in Rosenbachschen Löwen. The breakfast and dinner served here every day always left us speechless. You can tell that the owner and chef is passionate about his job. Everything was always very, very tasty and freshly prepared. We looked forward to dinner every evening. It was just great!!! We'd love to come back.

Good home-style cuisine - tastes great, good portions, fresh side salad - the chef (owner) knows his craft - here we cook the way it should taste in the Rhön! Nice service.Nice, cozy older restaurant - very clean, renovated toilets.

I had the pleasure of visiting Rosbach's Lion and I have to say I was amazed from start to finish. The service was first class and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They made my stay very comfortable and made me feel at home.The food was simply fantastic! Not only was it very tasty, but it was also of high quality. German cuisine is known for its hearty dishes and the restaurant has implemented the tradition perfectly.I recommend the restaurant to anyone looking for excellent cuisine and a unique dining experience. The ambience of the restaurant was also very pleasant and cozy. It was the perfect place for dinner with friends or family

I had stayed at the Rosenbachsche Löwen several times (and always happily) and this time I came to the area on holiday with my family. In the evening we spontaneously stopped at the Rosenbach Lion and wanted to eat something. We received a very friendly welcome and our child's favorite meal was served. We adults also received very tasty and very good quality meals. Simply good, down-to-earth cuisine, which unfortunately you don't often find anymore. Price/performance are very good here.

We stopped by this evening by chance and had an excellent meal. The roast beef with loos was fantastic! The Jägerschnitzel was also fried until tender and served with fresh mushrooms. A great family business with very hospitable service.

We have been coming here to eat for many years when we take short vacations in our cabin. And nowhere else can you get a rump steak as good as here and at such a fair price. The food here is sensational. My tip to the girls: use the men's toilet.
