This is a large campsite right on the Rhine river. I stayed for two nights in a tent with my car.There are lots of positives: beautiful views, great toilet/shower facilities, large pool, good restaurant and strong WiFi across the site. Prices are in line with other sites in the area.A significant negative for us: this is not a quiet place. The B9 is a busy road that remains busy all night. There is a major railway within tens of metres of the site which runs all night and is extremely noisy. Some of the freight trains are very long and very loud. Perhaps this isn't as bad if you're in a caravan, but you might want to reconsider if you are in a tent with no sound insulation.Previous responses to the reviews seem to claim that the camper should do their own research as to where railway lines are in the area, which I think is a bit cheeky - so I will warn you instead!

Camped here for one night while cycling eurovelo 15. Staff were very helpful in explaining where to pitch tent. Bonus was a fridge to keep food (and beer cold). Only downside was there was an unpleasant smell in kitchen however they were fixing this the morning I departed. Would happily stay here again

I wish I could have stayed longer.very nice camping. clean showers and toilets. when I was there it was very windy tough. but you can sit in the pizza restaurant and still have a great view of the Rhine.if you are not a heavy sleeper. the trains will wake you up. but overall excellent quality. has everything you need. very green grass, scenery, restaurant. which makes it a bit pricey but that's okay for me.

The third times we spent our holiday here. Really satisfy with the service and facility they provide.This year they add some new playground and activity for the kids to be more creative and they could make friends there.We rent 1 trailer for a family. It is always cleans and they put now there A/C, so you will not get too hot when you spend the summer holiday there.It is a good and perfect Camping Place for the family.

A great campsite, just outside the delightful town of Boppard. We stayed here with a car and caravan. A lovely Rhine river pitch. Yes there is some noise from the trains, but we got accustomed to it and it wasn’t a problem. Great for cycling along the pathway of the Rhine and a bus stop directly outside the campsite which we used to visit Koblenz. Boppard is a lovely town and well visiting. Too far to walk I’d suggest, we rode in on our bikes.

Sonnenneck camping park is adjacent to the river Rine. You can enjoy breakfast sitting at the bank of the river. There is also a restaurant inside the campus. We had pizza and lasagne, that was really good.There is a playground for the kids also where children enjoyed playing together.There is small store also. However, we’ve not ordered local breads from there, but tasted a few breads. Awesome !!Please make sure you’re carrying cash because cards are nit accepted neither at the store nor at the restaurant.We were travellers from Netherlands. Altogether, 13 adults and 4 kids with 4 tents. Overall we had a really nice time.
