Absolutely stunning castle hotel. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Delicious meals and afternoon tea service. We loved the garden and museum, too. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Laura gave us a lot of fun recommendations for other places to visit in the area. Lovely views of the Rhine River and vineyards. Highly recommended

Another outstanding piece of medieval history preserved! A lot of these castles along the Rhine have been made into hotels. What a unique experience to be able to stay in a real castle!

I cannot say enough about this place - the experience is one of a kind, especially if you get a room. A room comes with a plentiful afternoon tea, free museum admission, after hours access to the grounds, and an impressive breakfast buffet. We plan to stay here any time we come to Germany!

This is an awesome castle. I brought my sisters and cousins here when they were visiting Germany for the first time. They loved it. It’s got great views of the Rhein river and really nice gardens too. Been here two times. Would definitely recommend.

Visited the museum only but must admit it's been totally worth checking-out, even for families. I enjoyed walking through the rooms, court and garden imagining life of previous centuries. The castle is kept very well and clean. Don't miss it if you are close and plan approx. 1,5h to see everything.

Must have been epic when the baron bought the castle in 1898 and inherited all of the chattel - though from the look of all the antlers, the deer population were not so happy

Can't say enough good things about our stay at Burg Reichenstein. As hotel guests you get free admission to the castle and even after the castle is closed you can wander around the grounds. Because of its elevated location there are great views of the Rhine. We also had dinner at the restaurant on the grounds and it was very good. We happened to be there when the white asparagus is in season and it was very tender. Our meal and our wine were both delicious. As a bonus, a nice buffet breakfast is included as are tea and cake in the afternoon. Highly recommend a stay here. It may be a little more expensive than some hotels but it's worth the splurge.
