We can recommend the country inn "Zum Stern", the hosts do a great job here, a first-class breakfast is served with homemade sausages, the menu offers great dishes, everything is freshly prepared, tastes very good and the portions are large to create purchase. Were there for the first time today. It remains to be said that the menu is sufficient, filled with regional specialties and at reasonable prices. It tasted very good and we will definitely come back. It's good that there are still such great restaurants. Excellent!

So I have to give a huge compliment now, and that's something I rarely say when it comes to food in restaurants. We've eaten in the restaurant/inn twice now and were totally thrilled both times. The first time my wife had chicken, which was very tender, juicy and really tasty, the second time she had the Strindberg pork fillet, excellently fried with very tasty side dishes.Both times I had rump steak (1x rump steak and 1x pork fillet and rump steak), which were really fried as stated, namely medium-rare.Everything tasted wonderful, the fried mushrooms, the vegetables and especially the jus, I had goosebumps both times just from eating it, and that's not a lie, something so delicious.We'll be back, definitely and promised.Stay healthy and take care of yourself, best wishes to the chef and the whole team.

Very good rump steak, finally a steak that is medium as ordered and not fried to death. The onions were ideal with it, and the herb butter also tasted very good (I guess the cook makes it himself)Thanks

Condition was rather inattentive!We completely forgot to take an order when ordering drinks. Schnitzel was mediocre and fries were very bad. You didn't get your own portion of fries, but rather a small bowl that you had to share with four people.It also seemed to me that only people from the village were treated well and I didn't really feel welcome. The paprika schnitzel only had a maximum of 5 small pieces of pepper on it.All in all bad, I hoped for more.

Remote, dog-friendly, nice staff and owners, have been going there for years. The mattresses could be a little harder...otherwise very clean and close to the forest

The food was great. The furnishings are old-fashioned. Overall 5 stars due to the very good food. The mushrooms on the steak alone would justify another visit.
