As a hay leisure group, we have always chosen a hay hotel as accommodation on a suitable weekend over the last few years. This year we landed in Breitau with 8 people and were surprised. After our arrival, Mr. Brüggemann warmly welcomed us with coffee and freshly baked plum cake. The whole weekend we were provided with fresh herbs and fruit from his garden thanks to his loving nature, his attention, his hospitality and his cooking skills. The rustic atmosphere was very pleasant and we had a lot of fun. We started our journey home with a very good feeling and have very fond memories of this hay farm.

Went here with our racing bikes and were pleasantly surprised. Initially skeptical about what a hay bed meant, we were more than thrilled by the food, hospitality and accommodation. Super nice host and great rustic atmosphere. Highly recommended!

My first of 28 accommodations on my way to Greece (by bike). The host Mr. Brüggemann, the cozy room, the beautiful garden and the entire ambience have been immortalized in my memory. I would like to come back again.

"A wonderful hotel! I often travel for work and stay in many different accommodations, but this hotel really surprised me in a positive way. The landlord is extremely nice and accommodating, and the room is simply wonderful. From dinner to breakfast, all wishes are fulfilled , and in the evening you can end the day comfortably with a beer. Thank you for everything! I'm already looking forward to my next stay!"

Very nice place to unwind. Nice owner, great, rustic atmosphere and everything clean and well maintained. We were here with our motorhome and really enjoyed the time!

Magical, lovingly run farm. Vegetables, fruit and herbs from our own garden, meat from the neighboring farmer. We celebrated our 30th class reunion there and spent the night in the hay. Absolutely recommended, but advance registration is necessary.We'd love to come back!
