The location right next to the Rennsteig is great. Unfortunately, the road is very loud and on weekends there are many speeders with loud exhausts.The landlords are super nice and helpful.The rooms are functionally equipped and the bathroom is a stunner. Everything was set up very simply. A few little things could improve the property. E.g. why does the glass pane of the oven face the television? The stairs get a big minus. The creaking is so loud that the others are in bed.

The house and the surrounding area are very beautiful. Nice hosts and everything you need is there. 50 meters from the Rennsteig. Roland and Christina. We'll definitely be back.

Rooms are functional and well equipped. Bathroom well renovated. Very dog friendly, although the steep stairs are not suitable for dogs.

Another perfect holiday with lovely hosts. During the day, the extensive hiking trails, which remained easy to walk despite various rain showers, and in the evening, the cozy warmth of the holiday home. Thanks to unlimited Wi-Fi data volume, Junior didn't have to go without his beloved Netflix series, which helped him reconcile the arduous day trips. A big thank you for that too!

We, a family of four (children aged 2 and 8), were able to spend 5 wonderful days in the Thuringian Forest. The hut is lovingly and modernly furnished and offers all the comfort you would expect in a holiday apartment. We were warmly welcomed and looked after. No wishes remained unfulfilled.

Beautiful, simple hut with everything you need, also suitable for larger groups/families. Great garden with grill and fire pit, right on the hiking trail in the middle of the forest. Super nice hosts - always available and fair with last-minute requests/changes. We had a few very relaxing days there and would love to come back!

Superbly furnished hiking hut, more like a holiday home. The owners are very friendly and nice, you can contact us at any time if you have any special requests or maybe something is missing or you need something. The cabin is well equipped, a complete kitchen with everything you need, even two coffee machines. There are also tea and coffee samples and a small selection of drinks (alcoholic).The location of the cabins is right next to the forest, but the small town is still within walking distance and there are many opportunities to buy everyday goods.You can relax on the beautiful terrace or, of course, enjoy meals, depending on the weather. If it is cool or cold in winter, a stove offers cozy warmth.

The location of the hut (50m from the Rennsteig) on the edge of the forest is ideal for hikes in the area and also ideal for quick shopping in Neuhaus am Rennweg. The accommodation facilities are very comfortable. The kitchen/living room, bathroom and bedrooms have everything you need for a hiking holiday. Especially in colder temperatures, the fireplace (wood pellets) is an advantage for heating the living space. The bathroom with a walk-in shower and underfloor heating still looks new and corresponds to upscale furnishings for a Finnish/hiking hut. With a fire pit and grill available, we were able to spend beautiful summer evenings outside. The hosts are very friendly and always concerned about the well-being of the guests. They also give valuable tips for excursions personally or via their website/app. Highly recommended for families with children. Space to play, run around and explore nature.Disliked · Although the adjacent "Rennsteigbaude" is currently closed to guests, the kitchen was in operation every day (weekdays) from early in the morning, including noise from deliveries and deliveries and smells. The main road, which is only 100m from the huts, is also busy on weekdays and correspondingly loud. However, the road also provides good transport connections for trips to neighboring towns.

Everything was fine, everything you need for normal life was there, meaning no extra things you had to bring with you!Wolfgang and his wife are great hosts, if anything goes wrong they are there straight away and help immediately!I would book there again and again!!!

We were guests in the hiking hut (H2) for the second time this year and felt very comfortable again. The hut is very comfortably furnished and we didn't miss anything. The highlight for the children is sleeping under the pointed roof and clearing snow with Mr. Count with the snow blower. Our youngest was thrilled.The hut is located right next to the forest, so you can start hiking straight after breakfast.Dear hosts, thank you for the lovely time.
