I was eating in the restaurant with my wife and our two children. I ordered the sour meat and my wife the Jägerschnitzel. Of course there was also a lot of choice on the menu for the children. We were extremely happy with the food. It tasted great and the staff was great. The atmosphere was just great. We'd love to come back!

We ate there in the local brewery. My wife and I both had the Jägerschnitzel with fries instead of fried potatoes.She had wedding soup beforehand.There was a small salad to accompany the schnitzel.We were both thrilled, although I was a little more excited than she was😅.It was very tasty and we enjoyed it. The food was plentiful and we were well full.We would love to come back here to eat

The two of us were guests in the house from Friday to Saturday, we really liked it, it was sparkling clean, the service at breakfast was super nice and the journey back in time to the 70s or 80s was great...a new one Experience of spending the night in separate beds.😉😁 The beer garden or as you call it mAh in the Twiete really invites you to linger. Thank you for the hospitality, we would be happy to come back (as an old Uelzner resident, of course I knew where to stop).

We had lunch twice - great place to eat outside, because the tree in the middle of the Twiete provides a lot of shade - staff top - very attentive and good price-performance ratio

Went there for dinner as part of a memorial/mourning ceremony and unfortunately not only the occasion but also the location was very sad.Location (separate room in the café part of the hotel):• The planned long table consisted of several round tables, which meant that it wasn't really possible to sit properly• some of the dishes were not really cleanService:The waitress walked around the table with a Din A4 college notepad and wrote down the complete name of each dish on the menu. The only dish where she took a shortcut came out wrong.The drinks were taken 5 minutes later (!) and therefore only came during the starter and then incomplete: one was missing.Friendliness of the staff is mostly ok, but there are also some exceptions.Oh yes, as a waitress you should know how to tell the difference between beer and Alster without having to hold the glasses up to the light several times and then guess (at least correctly).Eat:Rösties from the freezer, mushrooms from a can, sauce probably mixed or at least thickened with powder, the fries rather mediocre, creamed spinach clearly a finished product.In summary: OK for a village snack bar, for a “bourgeois brewery” and not appropriate for the prices.

The Bürgerhotel in Uelzen has a long tradition. I've known this place for at least thirty years. Since I am a trained chef, I decided to stop there in winter. I immediately noticed that the guests were sitting in thick winter jackets and the heating wasn't running. The food is not good, simple cuisine but very expensive, I know the taste of glutamate, packet soups, flavor enhancers etc. I then decided on homemade sour meat. Aspic jelly arrived, the kind you can buy in the supermarket. The guest room is very dark, hardly any windows, old, outdated mobile phone, it definitely dates back to the 70s. years.An owner who has her kitchen staff serve, but please wear clean kitchen clothes. The owner also looks down on her guests from above. The plus point is the very friendly service staff and the draft beer.Kind regards, a former guest.

I "only" stayed overnight, didn't visit the restaurant. The rooms are clean, although old. Unfortunately, breakfast is only served when there are enough guests. The staff is friendly.

We “only” visited the restaurant, not the hotel.A rustic guest room, I've known it since I was a child. But in addition to the classics of a home-style menu such as schnitzel and currywurst, there are also “modern” dishes. I had pork tenderloin medallions with a spinach and parmesan cream sauce and croquettes. It was a great combination, unfortunately the meat and the sauce weren't really hot anymore, unlike the croquettes.But the extremely warm service led to the full stars in the rating.We'll definitely be back!

Very good hotel in Uelzen at an excellent price. Very good breakfast and very good German cuisine in the restaurant in the evening. All of my guests (professors) stay there very happily.
