Staff do not speak English, do not provide kettle in the room or even bottled water. Place where we stayed was a collection of unwanted, broken furnitures, bathroom with window through - no privacy. Cobwebs all over the place. The breakfast room with stuffed animals is hideous.

Really nice place to stay and have great breakfast. Room was clean and I pay 75€ for night and breakfast. Food was tasty and fresh.

There were three of us in the barrel. It was the 2nd visit. You can eat very well here. I had schnitzel with pepper cream sauce and can only recommend it. The prices are okay, but what irritated me a bit is the price of the water 😳 (see photo)

Well, yes. The high prices in a small restaurant surprised us a bit. We also observed that walk-in customers were turned away because all the seats in the beer garden were reserved. However, no one was sitting there and everything in the dining room was free. Very incomprehensible, especially since most people just wanted something to drink.The service staff was friendly. The food was okay, but we were far from feeling good. We won't be coming back here again.

The food was okay, as was the beer. The selection of food is relatively small. A waiter (the older one) relatively ignored us and gave strange answers. The younger waiter was really nice and soon served us. The prices are OK. 3.5 stars,

This review only applies to the restaurant that I visited on the occasion of a birthday.I have to say, I would happily give this 6 out of 5 stars, that's how good I thought the food was. The service was also extremely courteous and friendly.Since I am often in this region, be it to visit family or simply to go hiking or kayaking, I will definitely stop by the barrel again and enjoy the great food there.

I also go to the inn from time to time. This family-run business offers a really warm atmosphere and the food is fresh and lovingly prepared. Even vegan is no problem for me. It tastes delicious and the price/performance ratio is great. Good wine selection...

I stopped here with a couple of friends for a spontaneous beer and something to eat. We sat outside and were unfortunately only served after asking directly. Unfortunately, distributing seat cushions on the chairs was priority number one for the operator at that moment.I was very happy that I was able to drink San Miguel on tap again for a long time - cool! The dish we ordered, roast beef with fried potatoes, came quickly and was delicious. However, I and my companions didn't really get full because the portion size wasn't appropriate.What was pleasantly surprising was the chic interior, which unfortunately I was only able to examine briefly on the way to the toilet. If I get the chance, I'd be happy to come back and try out the menu again.

I'm at the inn every now and then. This family-run business offers a warm atmosphere and the food is freshly prepared. Even vegan is no problem for me. It tastes delicious and the price/performance ratio is great.I can't say anything about staying overnight, I basically live next door and don't need a room there.
