The room in the attic is very large and nice and bright. The facilities are great and everything is very clean and tidy. The hosts are very friendly and so are the staff. The breakfast in the wine cellar is excellent and varied. You notice that you are welcome. I can only recommend this accommodation. I'd love to come back. Best regards

We stayed at the Weinkeller Wölk for two nights some time ago and were very happy with our room, as it was not only large and spacious, but also very clean. The room was directly under the roof and was very warm, but fortunately we were able to ventilate it a bit at night.Unfortunately we were not told that we had to pay extra for breakfast. Even though we explicitly asked about it, this information was withheld from us, which I find very bold. So at the end of our stay we had to pay €14.50 per breakfast. Payment was only possible in cash, we did not receive an invoice. For me, breakfast was under no circumstances worth €14.50 - it was ok, but for €14.50 I expect not only decent rolls (there were baked rolls) and a better selection, but also better times than from 8-9 Clock. I also have to say that we felt like we were being watched by the hostess, as she stood at our table the entire time to give us her opinion on various topics without being asked. The next day, there were a few more guests, she stood at the buffet the whole time and here too we felt like we were being watched - that was more than unpleasant and, in my opinion, went far beyond what an “attentive and helpful hostess” was she pretended to be out.We also found it inappropriate that she often told us (even at check-in) her dissatisfaction with her employee. We also had the impression that the lady wanted pity and recognition, even with her constant talk about the “hard life of a pensioner” and “how bad everything is”. Didn't get it, at least from us. In my opinion, your statements, mainly regarding the employees, were sometimes very borderline and ill-considered. Some guests may appreciate socially and politically critical entertainment on vacation - we found it repulsive. All in all: Nice accommodation with a strange touch. I expressly recommend that you discuss and reject participation at breakfast (and thus the inappropriate conversations) right from the start.

Stayed with the Wölk family over Pentecost. Great reception, nice, quiet room. Quiet location yet quickly in the center. We'll be happy to come back.

The rooms are very large and clean. Breakfast is okay, but overpriced at €14.50 for what is on offer. We also felt a bit bothered by the owner at breakfast because of his extreme need to communicate. We couldn't occupy a room we had booked, but the full price was charged, without any goodwill, which was a shame. Even if the owners are very nice, they should take the points mentioned to heart.

Owner-run guesthouse in a well-prepared old "city villa" with a harmonious and inviting atmosphere. Very quiet location and nice guesthouse owners. Breakfast very good. Also recommended address for cyclists on the Saale cycle path

Very nice landlords who make almost everything possible. Very spacious room with an extremely large bathroom. Everything very clean and tidy. Price (70 euros + 10 euros breakfast) for one night is completely ok.
