Top quality restaurant.Fantastic service.Great location.Wine selection is extremely good.This is an expensive place, if you like this type of restaurant quality, then this place is for you.

It is a very nice hotel with plenty details that give it a home-like look. It is about 15 minutes from highway in a countryside. The owner speaks (at least) German, French and English. I really liked the breakfast, he came and asked me what I would like and then he prepared it. He also does small homemade breads for breakfasts.

Price/performance is not right here at all. Fillet comes as a shoe sole and a side dish that is quickly heated in the microwave. Sauce was an imposition, every housewife served with more skill than this shop!

... and another wonderful evening at the Rössle.Actually, the summary “wow, wow, wow” is still an understatement.I only know a few chefs in Germany who make everything themselves, from the Crossini for the aperitif to the ice cream at the end of the dinner. The whole thing is of a quality that also explains why the nearby 2-star restaurant is happy to refer its guests to the Rössle when they are overbooked.Yesterday too, every gear was at star level.The service from Inka, Jette and the team is always such that you feel like you are integrated into the family all evening long.Inka's wine recommendations are always on point.As always, it's not just an evening, it's a time out that gives you more than just a great evening.I look forward to my next visit to Brettach. Bernd and Inka don't talk about sustainability, they show how it can be done and in the tastiest way I know in Germany.

We celebrated my dear brother-in-law's 60th birthday here! It was outstanding! The entire organization, the food, the drinks, the service and the entire lovingly decorated ambience make this evening unforgettable. The rooms and breakfast were also great. I/we can only recommend it! Thanks so much! ❤️

We've been guests several times now and have always had lovely evenings. Unfortunately, on our last visit we were very disappointed. If a restaurant doesn't want the guest to order a normal dish instead of a menu, then you simply shouldn't offer this. Unfortunately, portion sizes are entirely based on the menu concept. Unfortunately the price/performance ratio is not justified.

Incredible people. For very personal reasons, we had to cancel our reservation for a prepared menu (Versucherle) that same evening. We realize that something like this really isn't ideal for the restaurant, but there was nothing we could do about it.My wife, in a state of emergency, was massively harassed on the phone and forced to give reasons for our cancellation, instead of politely accepting our cancellation (like normal people) and possibly pointing out that we still have to issue an invoice.As if these people had a right to interfere in our most private affairs. Simply hanging up the phone would certainly have been the best choice from that point on, but my wife wanted to resolve the situation for the better. However, this only meant that the man on the phone continued to harass her. She then pretended that she had corona disease and initially allowed herself to be persuaded that we somehow still had to come or find a replacement ourselves!?!?In a second call to announce our definitive rejection, we had Ms. Pils herself on the line. This was no less unbearable and persistent and made my wife cry. I had to take over the phone. Ultimately, out of desperation, we gave the real reason and our address and I told her openly and honestly what I thought of her. We don't know why we had to do this to ourselves.At first we didn't receive an invoice. We misunderstood this as subsequent decency and a sense of shame. But now we received the full invoice by email (they apparently simply misunderstood the address over the phone and are now accusing us of giving the wrong address) - not just the preparation costs, as would actually be correct.It is now finally clear what kind of people we are talking about.We will certainly never set foot in this store.

We were there for dinner with the family today. It was excellent, big compliments to the kitchen. The ambience was very nicely decorated and you feel very comfortable. The boss and the staff are very friendly and attentive, we felt very good. We wish the team much success and would be happy to come back.

Even if it's a bit out of the way, we always like to go there. Portions are sufficient. Service is always very courteous and makes sure everything is ok. Kitchen is very good. We always look forward to dining there.
