We didn't stay in the gasthaus but had dinner there. It was excellent. A beautifully presented wiener schnitzel, very good fries and a lovely ample salad. Quick service with a smile and not expensive. Nice and quiet on a Monday night in a small street across from the river. In contrast, the next day another wiener schnitzel in a larger hotel with views to Cochem across the river. More expensive and not as good. Would have gone to Cure Quelle two nights in a row but Tuesday is their ruhetag.

Small and friendly bed & breakfast. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is simple continental. The location is quiet, but on the other side of the river where most restaurants and hotels are located.

The accommodation in the guesthouse was very good and the rooms were very clean. The bathroom was a bit small but we were happy. After a few minutes' walk, we reached the hotel, where a great and rich breakfast was served. The lady and gentleman who served us breakfast were very nice, attentive and kindly fulfilled every wish. It was a lovely few days at the Hotel Gute Quelle. We would love to come back.Wolfgang Maubach

The rooms are very clean and sufficiently large. We found the bathroom to be very small.The house is also very noisy. It is also on a busy road.We stayed in the guesthouse and had to walk about 5 minutes to the guesthouse in the morning to have breakfast.The breakfast is rich and offers something for everyone. You can walk to the city center in about 10 minutes. Parking there is a bit of a disaster. The parking spaces belonging to the hotel were all full, so we had to park in another parking lot. Getting a parking space there in high season is unlikely. Otherwise, the guesthouse certainly doesn't offer luxury but a good price-performance ratio.

Good price-performance ratio.Unfortunately the room is a bit old-fashioned and small. The bathroom was very cramped. Everything clean.Breakfast and service were very good.You can reach the center of Cochem within a few minutes.We were there over the Easter days, which was a mistake... Too crowded, the center was completely full and unfortunately everything was reservation-only in the evenings.So it's best to visit Cochem only during the week, we'll be happy to come back to the Hotel Gute Quelle.
