This hostel is a wonderful place in the middle of the forest. The facility is well maintained, the operators are super friendly and the surroundings are worth exploring. Our little wooden hut was simply wonderful: everything you need was there, it was wonderfully warm and the view was simply wonderful.I can only recommend this accommodation - the price-performance ratio is outstanding!

Hike to Baier and Baiershof in the most beautiful autumn weather. The very nice and attentive operators opened the restaurant for us long before opening time. We were able to warm up and eat and drink delicious food. Many thanks to the nice hosts! We'd love to come back!

Good location for group meetings. Simple but clean and cozy. Bad weather variant possible, but when the weather is nice you can sit comfortably outside - simply wonderful. Another plus - absolute peace.

Very nice! We always held our family celebrations/reunions here. Very idyllic and remote in nature. You can choose whether you want to stay in a “luxury” bungalow (with your own kitchen and shower/toilet) or in a youth hostel style (multi-bed bungalows, shared kitchen, etc. in the main building). Beautiful campfire area, a small swimming pool, playground and lots of forest complete the whole thing.Book early, it is always well attended. If you want to rent the entire facility, you should call at least a year in advance!!

Very rustic including the food on offer. Overnight stays in the huts are possible for a small price. But reservations must be made in good time as they are almost always fully booked. The hostel can be reached from several sides (Gehaus, Emberg, Weilar).

Very nice hostel and very good food. The stone oven pizza is simply amazing. We like being up there.
