The hotel and the facility are very old, very steep stairs. Rather unsuitable for small children and people of advanced age

Very friendly, family atmosphere. The beds are really good because they are not the typical hotel floppy mattresses, but nice and firm. Breakfast isn't as rich as you would expect from large hotels, but I don't need it either. It was delicious that way too. TV, WiFi, etc all not used, I can't say anything.I would come again if I'm in the area.

Is very close to Ravensberg and the Paradies adventure pool/play paradise and sauna area. The owners are more than nice and friendly. The food was so delicious that our daughter wants to go back just for that reason. The rooms are not the most modern but everything is there.We were all very satisfied and we don't have to look for a hotel for our next visit to the Harz.

Nice hotel in a very quiet location. The operators are an older couple who take great care of their guests. She takes care of catering for the guests and cleaning the rooms and the garden, he takes care of the administrative matters and is happy to give good tips about excursion destinations in the surrounding area. Delicious breakfast (included with my booking) and dinner at reasonable prices. The rooms and the entire hotel have somewhat old furnishings that have probably existed for 20-30 years, but everything is in top condition and clean, so there is nothing to complain about here either, but you have to like it. There is also a beautiful, large garden and a large outdoor terrace. All in all a good hotel for a good price.However, the existing WiFi... I personally don't necessarily need hotel internet, but if it's available it should work properly. The reception in the dining room was great. But in our room it was a horror. The internet fluctuated so much that it was actually impossible to use it properly on both smartphones and tablets. This should urgently be improved or left out entirely.

The hotel had a nice atmosphere and the interior was very simple and the conditions were great, and the food tasted the same.Overall the hotel was very great.The only drawback was that there was no WiFi available.

Fantastically romantic accommodation, large garden that also serves as a beer and coffee garden, cozy restaurant with good food. Get lots of tips for things to do. The next vacation is already planned to the Hotel Waldfrieden.
