Lovely place to stay. A warm welcome and good recommendations about where to eat and where to visit. Lovely room, very stylish renovations to a beautiful old house. Amazing breakfast prepared with great attention to detail. I thoroughly recommend a night (or more) here.

Fantastic.A really beautiful, listed house in the historic town center directly opposite the church. A really nice and quiet room. And last but not least, a fabulous healthy breakfast in the sunny garden under the shady apple tree. All of this combined with very friendly and humorous service. It couldn't be better 😊

Really great restored half-timbered house. It was nice to see how the family put a lot of love into detail and how they tried to preserve the original building structure. Great quiet rooms, super nice hosts and perfectly located in the old town. Unfortunately we couldn't enjoy breakfast, but we did get a great tip for a nearby cafe. Highly recommended and something different than a “classic” hotel - but we much prefer it! Tanya and Chris

The sun house keeps what it promises. A carefully renovated gem. The hostess is extremely friendly and interested in the guest's well-being. Still pleasantly reserved. Unfortunately we could only stay one night. If we're in the area again, we'd love to come back!

After six days of kayaking on the beautiful Havel and overnight stays at bivouac sites, we treated ourselves to a wonderful end to our tour at the Sonnenhaus Havelberg. This feel-good oasis is a hit! It's rare to find such love for detail and warmth. We loved the host family and were completely looked after. The garden blooms and thrives in June, you could spend endless time in this insect paradise. We were presented with raspberries, snow peas and freshly picked pea pods upon arrival. Breakfast in the morning was also a blast. You definitely shouldn't miss this. Vegans are also lovingly cared for. Keep it up! We will remember you fondly and hopefully return again.PS: the beds are super comfortable and the furnishings are well thought out. The old house gives you the opportunity to feel the past. Opposite at the church tower the kestrels are playing like crazy and offering a funny spectacle.

A wonderful place to stay. If you also find not having a screen in your room a luxury and appreciate napkins for breakfast, this is the place for you.

We had a wonderful stay in the Sonnenhaus a few weeks ago. The hostess welcomed us and was immediately very attentive. The rooms are very creatively implemented. It's nice to see how lovingly the couple restored the house down to the last detail. The breakfast in the garden must also be mentioned - very tasty with regional and own ingredients. We also got great tips for a bike tour. We can therefore fully recommend the Sonnenhaus.

Lovingly run guesthouse, super cozy rooms. The energy and care that has flowed into this house is embodied by the owners and passed on to their guests. I would definitely book breakfast as well. Everything homemade and from the region.

What a nice place! Relaxation begins as soon as you enter the garden. Not only are the garden, the rooms and the entire house lovingly and beautifully designed and furnished, the hosts are also warm and always concerned about the well-being of their guests. In addition to the very tasty and regional breakfast (the shortest trip was the apple for the apple juice from our own garden) there were very helpful recommendations for our weekend program. If you are looking for nature, peace and relaxation, you have come to the right place!
