Very nice, cozy guesthouse with very friendly staff. Good food with a visit to the stalactite cave underneath the brewery.Simply gigantic.We'll definitely be back!

I already booked a double room and a single room with breakfast (!!!) for a wedding in March 2024 because we are traveling from further away.When we handed over the keys, we were told that tomorrow was a rest day and that they would have to come especially for our breakfast!Impossible to blackmail someone so emotionally!!!! Then we gave up on it...The furnishings of both rooms are a farce, the bathroom has a moldy wall 🤮No bottle of water in the room, no machine...Just terrible and out of date.Never ever!!!!

We've already drunk our way through the entire beer menu, all beer styles are very tasty. Especially the noble beer and the special dark. We love coming by every time we take a trip nearby. It is particularly nice in summer to sit on the terrace above the stream and watch the flowing water.

Very tasty, very friendly, very nice atmosphere. Ate here twice and everything was great. The freshly caught brown trout are highly recommended. They are freshly taken out of the water, we were able to watch.

We had reserved a double room. If you only have rooms with single beds, please mention this when making your reservation. The fact that the two beds are L-shaped and that one bed doesn't even have a nightstand for utensils is the smallest problem. The totally dirty carpet, the toilet with urine and limescale streaks, as well as the dirty shower curtain complete this outdated room. This room is an imposition even for just one night. The fact that today's standards, such as a TV, are not available is unacceptable given the price for the night.Unfortunately, dinner didn't get any better. At the Jägerbraten the beef and pork were just dry! The self-service solution with calling the tables for eating is also not okay, as is putting used dishes together next to the guest tables and therefore does not create a good dining atmosphere. This can be done differently or better. Unfortunately, the good beer and apple juice are the only positive things.For us the visit was certainly the first and last time and is certainly not worth recommending. Even 1 star is too much!

Went there spontaneously for lunch with a cycling group and were well looked after from start to finish. The atmosphere, as well as the menu and especially the pricing, are very traditional and down to earth.The boss conveyed the news that only one of the two trout we ordered was still swimming in the pool very casually, thereby providing the best proof that the dishes were fresh and homemade.

We were there for lunch. From the reservation to the very friendly service, everything was great. Food excellent 👍. To top it off, we were bid farewell by the senior citizen, who, at the age of 91, writes reservation cards himself. With such benevolent words that we were completely surprised. We've never had anything like this before. Thank you for the lovely lunch, we will definitely come again😊

Really a super nice place. The Maultaschen are excellent and the delicious beer goes perfectly with them. There is a stalactite cave under the restaurant... This is totally surprising and really blew us all away. Thank you. It wasn't the last time we had a wonderful evening here.

We used to eat there often on a trip because it was so good, but today we were even more disappointed. We had to complain about the food, the meat was a tough thin slice, the sauce was like water and the salad was half a forkful of each type for which we still had to pay €6.50 after complaining about the food even though it hadn't been eaten. With a price for a Jägerschnitzel of just under €20, we also expect good food. Three small dry Maultaschen with a blob of onions carelessly on the plate for €14.
