I had to stay here overnight for work reasons. Personally, I would not have booked this accommodation based on the existing reviews. Unfortunately, everything from these negative reviews has been confirmed. The breakfast for 20€ is a disgrace (old baked rolls and cheap ham and cheese from the discounter, ONE brown banana, etc.). In the room there were cobwebs hanging on the chandelier (at eye level). The shower head constantly folds down, so you couldn't even shower properly. There was no warm water available early in the morning (no showering possible). It was cold in the room and the heater didn't heat up. Apparently nothing has been done or repaired since the “hotel” opened in 1999. 140€/night plus 20€ for breakfast is hard to beat in terms of audacity. When I wanted to pay with VISA, the owner complained that she now had to pay 4% fees (€13!!!).Conclusion: once and never again...

We celebrated our wedding over a weekend in the hunting lodge two weeks ago. I already knew the castle from previous visits and thought it was beautiful back then. The arrangements with Ms. Sloman worked quite well and she gave advice here and there for which we were grateful. All guests felt comfortable and all plans for the wedding, such as catering, DJ, band, etc., ran smoothly. The food was good and the service was very friendly. The rooms were clean and the view was great. We had a very nice time and a great celebration. What we also want to say is that we are respectful of a concern such as preserving family property and think that it is understandable that there are one or another rule or requirement. We were able to live with it very well.

We had a simple room with a tube TV and were the only guests for two days, so we had the castle to ourselves. The hunting lodge is quiet and lonely. There is a beautiful park with a pavilion and small lakes. The owner provided very great service. You can do yoga and bike tours very well in the castle.

It was an unforgettable wedding with great experiences. The hostess was friendly and very reserved so that you had the feeling that you were only there with the family :) everything that scared me from previous reviews didn't come true in any way. The little ones were also well looked after and the smokers weren't neglected either. I can only recommend a great experience if you want to celebrate big :)

We were able to celebrate our wedding in the picturesque Bellin hunting lodge in April of this year. We couldn't have chosen a better place to do this.The entire communication with the landlady, Mrs. Sloman, before, during and after the wedding was very uncomplicated, clear and direct, but always polite and courteous. The communication between the service providers (e.g. catering) and Ms. Sloman also left nothing to be desired. A lot of the necessary coordination and planning on site was taken care of for us.We were treated to freshly prepared dishes and a varied breakfast before and after the wedding. The rooms offered plenty of space and were clean and tidy.The photos of the location speak for themselves: it is simply a fabulous castle with lots of charm, space and lots of spots for wonderful wedding photos.Due to the possibility of renting the castle exclusively for the celebration and the large number of beds, almost the entire wedding party had the opportunity to stay overnight in the castle.So if anyone is still looking for a romantic place for the best day of their life, they should find it here at the Bellin hunting lodge!Photos: Laura Marie Rogatschow

I had the pleasure of accompanying a wedding at the Bellin hunting lodge as a DJ. The atmosphere was simply fantastic. The entire castle can be rented exclusively, making for a very private and special celebration. We had a great party here. Ms. Sloman explained to us what is possible and what is not. She corrected little things, managed the service and conjured up a brilliant breakfast with her team, which we didn't even notice. We were allowed to feel at home as hosts, while the actual host looked after us very well. We and our guests saw the fact that the WiFi didn't work so well as the main prize. We thank you very much and will always have fond memories of this festival.

We had a wonderful family celebration in a stylish ambience and a very attentive and courteous host. The meals were served on a festive table in the fireplace room. After dinner, Mrs. Sloman discreetly withdrew so that we had the entire castle to ourselves without being disturbed. The rooms and apartments were clean and well maintained. The breakfast was rich and there was something for every taste.

The castle hotel, embedded in the picturesque landscape of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, was the perfect place for our family celebration.The historical charm of the castle creates an authentic atmosphere of luxury and comfort. The rooms are spacious and offer wonderful views of the landscape. A place rich in history and beauty. Our highlights: the entrance with stairs and the winter garden with a wonderful view of the idyllic park, WOW!Ms. Sloman and her staff were very friendly and attentive to us and lovingly ensured that every wish was fulfilled. Thanks for that! They made our celebration something very special.We left the Bellin hunting lodge full of beautiful memories. We were guests at a wedding on April 27th. The hunting lodge is history and transports you to another time. The park is 10 hectares beautiful, at 6 a.m. I saw 3 deer from the bathroom window. We felt wonderfully accommodated, including breakfast, everything you need. It's a very large facility and a lot of it needs to be renovated, but it all costs a lot of money.

Our experience in Beling, August 2023I miss the experience of the party in Bellin, we felt like we were in a medieval palace, with exceptional attention, the hostess of a human quality that was no longer insurmountable, the forest and the lagoon transported us to the past, the hunting assistants with their instruments, who scare away wild boars and deer at the point of shooting was fabulous, the experience lived was unique, the hostess, Angelika, we can only thank her for everything she lived, the warmth, the food..... Shortly before the gates of Rostock, a location awaited me that I cannot describe in short words. Remote from the motorway - although it feels like it's next door - there is the hunting lodge with many outbuildings, a beautiful park, several balconies...Simply put: fantastic!It only stays quiet until the DJ can turn it up 😉Ms. Sloman, the on-site boss, couldn't be happier; many thanks to her.Having learned about it as a wedding location, I will recommend company celebrations here in the future.

Comments from the wedding party omit facts.Despite an express ban on fireworks, fireworks were set off between buildings in August when there was a high risk of fire.There was no official approval.The music plug was pulled by the owner because there was no willingness to interrupt the fireworks display even though the fire brigade sirens in the village were already drowning out everything.After 20 minutes the music was kindly approved and turned on again. The festival continued as planned until 3:30 a.m.The Bellin hunting lodge is a wonderful place to celebrate.I also celebrated my wedding there - Oltmann

We actually only needed a stopover, so we didn't really look, just booked and then found this find! A house that is removed from time and that is exactly how you feel. Nothing has been completely renovated, everything has atmosphere. The baroque garden with its lakes, the patina on the balustrades, in the middle of a wildly romantic park. The house with a spacious terrace, large winter garden, old wooden floors, historical paneling and operators who carefully embrace this heritage with heart and mind. For everyone who loves it individually, who wants to discover and who likes to move away from the system hotel industry - an absolute recommendation!

We spent a wonderful weekend in the impressive Bellin Castle with our large family. The historic buildings and the high-quality basic furnishings (floors, stairs, railings) stimulate the imagination. The park invites you to take a walk and linger in the pavilion. We made extensive use of the kitchenette and had a wonderful dinner at 12 in the evening on the large balcony. The owner was helpful and flexible. We liked that the castle is not overly furnished and that families with children can also feel at home.
