Registration at the Hotel Sophien-Cafe was friendly and quick. The distance to the “Gästehaus Altstadttraum” was approx. 1.5 km, so easily accessible by car. Free parking spaces were available. …

Very nice room, without service in the middle of the old town of Leer. Difficult to reach for those unfamiliar with the area because of the one-way streets. Luckily we drive electric...so we were able to park for free right in front of the house. There is also a parking space behind the house. The entrance is in the side alley between the parking lot and the street, which can only be reached on foot. No breakfast in the house. The café to which the room belongs is several kilometers away at the other end of the old town. We then had to wait until 10:00 a.m. to have breakfast next door in the pastry shop. However, the breakfast was very good. From 7:00 in the morning it gets very loud due to the truck delivery traffic in the old town.

The rooms are good. But very loud in the city due to pubs and parties on two out of two nights.

It's complicated: We booked a bike tour by phone at short notice. …

In the middle of the city on the pedestrian zone - it couldn't be better! And at a reasonable price too...Very clean room, functionally furnished (even with a few books and a fly swatter) and surprisingly large, so you can easily make yourself comfortable there for a few days.If you live in a room under the roof, you have a fantastic view of the pedestrian zone... and the daily fitness program is included, as there is of course no elevator in such an old building. Despite the busy street, you can't hear anything when the windows are closed.By the way, there is a small parking lot directly behind the house.Forgot your rain jacket? It doesn't matter - there's the right shop on the ground floor... just browse...And the ultimate breakfast tip: the “Antik Café” just down the street!!

Inexpensive accommodation in a perfect old town location. The rooms are spacious. Unfortunately there was a smell of mold in the bathroom - somewhere under the plaster the water pipe for the toilet flush was leaking and dripping. The rooms are very noisy. You can hear all the noises - really all of them - from the rooms on the lower and upper floors. Extremely unpleasant when the residents don't care about discretion... And the main reason why I don't want to book here again.

It is a clean and tidy room. Has a very nice location, right in the old center.Missing a kettle to make a cup of tea or a Senseo machine for coffee

The stay was very nice, the room was very clean with a small kitchen area, a table and 2 chairs, everything you needed was there, unfortunately the bed was a bit narrow but that was the only drawback. The bathroom was great with lots of storage space, we would like to come back because everything is very centrally located.

The apartment is rather simple, but the location right in the old town is an absolute dream - so the name is no coincidence. Our apartment on the first floor even had a small raised terrace with a table and two chairs. Uncomplicated key return, we liked everything.

We have stayed here a few times. Apparently the rooms have been renovated a bit (repainted, different bedding). Very centrally located and a good price/performance ratio.
