Our daughter (12) had a great week with animals, nature, exercise and fun!The atmosphere in the tent camp was very relaxed, she felt well looked after and very comfortable in her tent (only girls of a similar age with two very nice supervisors). The activities were varied (for all ages) and she experienced a lot of great things and also learned something personally. She found the food delicious and the sanitary building clean. We were all completely satisfied and my daughter would definitely like to come again.

Worrying conditions!I can only confirm the impressions of today's previous review and would like to add a few things. I also experienced the unpleasant atmosphere and the problematic structures that were described. What is particularly worrying is how dependent the carers are on the leader and that, when asked by the underage carers, there are no other specialists other than the leader for the 24/7 camps over several weeks. There are also reports and reports about even more worrying behavior on the part of the leader, which give the impression that the well-being of the children and young people is not his top priority, only his own.It appears that, despite the evidence of these problems, there is little independent auditing. The club - or more precisely, the leader - seems to be largely allowed to decide for itself how control is carried out and what is considered acceptable.Parents should definitely inform themselves thoroughly before registering their children there. If you have had similar experiences, it would be really important to report even smaller incidents to independent authorities. Because even small incidents can add up to a larger picture. The well-being and safety of children should always come first!

My kids described the camp as “so mediocre.”They had quite a varied program and thought the (vegetarian) lunch was great.Unfortunately, the carers were not always friendly to the children; my nephew was called a “stupid child” because he could not answer a question.Other children were insulted as “disabled children”.The artistic students are obliged to carry out two free periods, perhaps this is due to the involuntary nature, which is particularly not conducive to working with children. However, there were also carers about whom my children reported very positively. The head of the camp seems to have a very authoritarian manner and, for example, forbade the children to talk during meals. You can tell that he is really passionate about the circus and does it with passion, but I would have expected more sensitivity from a social worker. In my opinion, homesickness was also not adequately responded to.My children certainly didn't suffer any damage from the free time, but perhaps they would have been better off in another camp.

A week of circus camp for our nine-year-old daughter - that sounded great and our little one was immediately hooked.Unfortunately, CircArtive turned out to be completely different than expected. As soon as we arrived we noticed the strange atmosphere. Instead of excited anticipation, we met overtired and visibly intimidated team members and every question was referred to the camp manager's welcoming speech. He runs the company with strong self-love and without consideration for children or volunteers. In his speeches he points out every minute that he knows what he is doing. Unfortunately that's not true. Our daughter - an experienced sleeper away from home - became homesick. This can happen and of course CircArtive can't do anything about it. But what is the responsibility of the organizers is how to deal with the children's fears. The camp director personally sent her away when she reported that she was homesick - and he also forbade his team member from contacting us parents. After a week we were able to pick up our child again. Here too: no bright children's eyes, no euphoric team members - instead a camp boss who spends hours telling visitors how great he is. The team members are completely dependent on him - because “voluntary” commitment is a condition for the existence of the affiliated circus school. The whole camp is afraid of him. And to this day - two weeks later - our daughter can't sleep at night and cries because she has to think about CircArtive. Has any outside agency ever audited what is going on at CircArtive? I think that would be appropriate...

Great circus tent camp! Unique experience in terms of personality development (child) or learning to let go (parents)... Simply leisure time like it used to be paired with the 'right' values of today! <3 Love of nature/being able to be a child/art <3

The location and grounds are really beautiful. The farm is spacious and the entire area is very expansive and exciting. The volleyball field and basketball court offer a nice place for sporting leisure activities. The field paths, the stream and the surrounding area, which are often used and explored in lunchtime activities and projects, are very interesting and through the accompanied exploration you learn to appreciate nature. The groups are led based on needs. Sometimes there are discrepancies between the wishes and the clearly existing needs of the participant or other participants. In this situation, carers first ensure the safety and fulfillment of the needs of the majority. But the needs and wishes of others are also respected and implemented. Unfortunately, this sometimes leads to dissatisfaction.Personally, I have always enjoyed being at this holiday camp. You meet a lot of friends there, acquire a lot of great and useful skills and learn to act more independently. You have a lot of social contacts and always discover new things that you enjoy. The range is huge and everyone is very friendly and open-minded. It's very worth it!

I was often there myself as a participant. The programs are varied and entertaining. The supervisors are nice and responsible. There are always many different circus disciplines from which you can choose. The division of the children into their circus disciplines is also fair. The food at the camp is really tasty, and much better than other camps I've been to.You also get to know a lot of other children; I made friends during the camps who have been with me for years.Really satisfied and recommended!!!

So I'm writing another review because my first one was deleted, the camp is not good, underage caregivers, only vegan food and only water, Sven the "boss", calls himself a mentor, doesn't always treat his animals well, at least I did Heard from other children that there were a few incidents involving Sven and an alpaca and well I have to say that this free time was one of the worst I've ever had and I was there several times (I was forced to go😡)
