Beautiful location, lovely, comfortable rooms, good service. Everything you could want for an overnight stop on a beautiful hike. We were with 2 children and a dog and it suited us perfectly.

Great location and even greater service! It takes a while walking from the parking lot to reach the place, but it is definitely worth the effort. Warm welcome, friendly staff, and comfortable rooms. Spending at least one night here is a great experience and recommended. Great breakfast 😋 👌 . On top of all of that, it is also possible to rent a sleigh and enjoy a great ride (2,5km) down to the parking lot.

Great view, lovely people und very cosy rooms. We slept very well. It is very kids friendly with a big playground and so many other things to discover. We will be back as soon as possible. Also day visiters will be happy: food is good and you get it fast and without problems.

Perfect place to stop, on the way from the lake to the top. Big terrace, enough space and also inside. The menu surprised me with various choices, there are decent vegan dishes and all the drinks you could think of. We were served quickly. The goulash soup was so tasty, a large portion, a lot of meat, but it was not warm enough. You can pay by card.

The view from up here is reduced due to the large trees around. You have to climb up a bit further the surrounding hills for a more spectacular view.

We had a one night business event stay in the Obere Firstalm hut - 40 people. The Obere Firstalm team took care that we have a great stay. Nothing missed - great food, great rooms, great location, great service perfect timing of everything we discussed. Only thing to improve is the internet in the conference room otherwise 5 stars well deserved!

The view on the terrace is very nice, especially on a sunny day. The restaurant is self service and still, the portions are small, while prices are high. The pommes were quite oily and the schnitzel was good, but small. The knodel with bee sauce was surprisingly good, but strange for a children menu 🤔

Awesome location with a great view. Very tasty food, good breakfast. When a lot of people are taking a shower at the same time, the water pressure is not great, and it might even come out cold. It's situated at the top of a 2.5 km uphill walk, if you need a ride, they charge 30€ per ride, and the one I was in, the driver was visibly drunk, and even stopped to puke on the way.

We stopped here for lunch during our hiking trip. You can definitely enjoy a great view while you eat. The food was ok - nothing special, but the staff was very welcoming and accommodating.
