We had a wonderful holiday at the Mithinghof with our two children.We didn't miss anything in the holiday apartment.The Gröhn family is very hospitable and uncomplicated.The children really enjoyed it - looking after the animals, riding horses, running around in the hayloft and much more.Thank you for the relaxing time. The holiday destination for next year has now been determined.

We were very lucky to be able to spend a great week on the Gröhn family farm!The apartments are superbly equipped. We didn't miss anything. If something was missing, we could contact Ms. Gröhn at any time.There was never a dull moment on the farm itself. If you didn't want to "just" spend time with the animals anymore, you had to have a cart race or a table tennis or a table football tournament or a straw fight in the straw corner!We were lucky that a lamb and two calves were born during our stay. This was very exciting for both the adults and the children!I could write so much more, but there isn't that much space here.It was super exciting, but at the same time completely decelerating! Simply an all-round perfect holiday for the whole family!

We spent our summer vacation on the farm with our girls in August. We felt very comfortable, nothing was left to be desired.The farm itself is a paradise for children with all the many animals. Riding a pony was a highlight for the children.We would like to say thank you very much for the wonderful time and will come back next year.

At the end of September we spent two weeks of vacation on the farm. The holiday apartment is fully equipped, nothing was missing. The host family is very nice. We felt very comfortable. We would be happy to come back.Everyone should take a vacation on a farm so they can see what work it takes to get that tetra pack of milk on the shelf.

14 unforgettable days at the Mithinghof were over far too quickly! The Gröhn family is a top host. Anyone who wants to relax on holiday is just as well looked after at the Mithinghof as anyone who wants to experience the farm live and get involved. Milking cows, sorting sheep, feeding calves, manure horses and ponies... everything is possible/is made possible here! Rooms are well equipped. The three of us and our two small dogs were very happy with our “large apartment”. If you don't just want to stay on the farm, you will find plenty of excursion destinations in the immediate vicinity. Tönning, St. Peter-Ording, Husum... but also Hamburg and Sylt are not that far away. Unfortunately, we weren't able to tick off all the planned activities in the 14 days, there was too much to experience. Dear Gröhn family, thank you for everything and all the best! Where do you start?The Gröhn family is super hospitable, open-minded and extremely fond of children! You will be welcomed with fresh cake and a warm hello! Riding, caring for horses, feeding, cows, calves, lambs, cats, dogs, rabbits and so on... the offer is simply great! I could write a MEGA review here and still forget half of it! The location is great for excursions and the holiday apartments are brilliant! 1A farm holiday for the whole family!

It was my first holiday on the farm and I immediately felt at home after the first day. Everyone on site was very friendly and welcoming. It was a great vacation, I would love to go back every year ☺️☺️

The Gröhn family is a very hospitable family.We have now been in the small holiday apartment for the third time. It is equipped with everything you need and has enough space, and there is also a parking space for cars and bicycles.A visit to the horses, ponies, sheep and cows with their calves is a must. You can also get fresh milk.If the weather is bad, you can also spend your time playing table tennis, table football, board games and much more in the entrance area to the two holiday apartments.We like coming here, we find it very relaxing and there is always something new to discover, it doesn't get boring. The Mithinghof is a bit out of the way but still central, for example to Tönning where there are some shopping opportunities,It's about 20 minutes by car to St. Peter-Ording.

I spent a wonderful week on the farm with my two children (1 and 3). Ms. Gröhn and her family are super warm and happy to answer any questions that you might have as a city dweller on a farm. The children have plenty of space to play and the holiday apartments are equipped with everything they need. I can definitely recommend the Mithinghof and will definitely be a guest there again.
