A piece of North Frisian paradise: Our stay at the Dircks shepherd farmOur family holiday at the Dircks Schäferhof in Westerhever was undoubtedly an unforgettable experience that left us with warm memories and a smile in our hearts.From the moment we drove onto the farm we were surrounded by an atmosphere of peace and serenity. The sight of lambs, calves, chickens and ducks grazing peacefully in the green pastures transported us to another world - a world that seemed far removed from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.The incredibly friendly shepherd family took the time to tell us everything about life on the farm and answer our curious questions. Typically North Frisian, but with a warmth that even made you forget the cold North Sea weather. They were not only masters in dealing with their animal companions, but also real entertainers for our little children, who rushed from one adventure to the next with shining eyes.Our children had the opportunity to interact with the animals up close - be it feeding the lambs, petting the old goat or riding the gentle ponies. Every moment was a new discovery and learning process that deepened her love and respect for nature.And then there was Joy, the lovely farm dog who quickly became our family's favorite. His friendly nature and playful nature often made us laugh and put a smile on our children's faces. Oh, Joy was the ultimate host. With a wagging tail and a look that said "welcome to animal paradise," he led us through the property as if he were the self-proclaimed mayor of the farm.In addition to the animal experiences, the playground and the digging box were also real highlights for our little ones. They were able to let off steam and let their imaginations run wild while we parents watched them and enjoyed the tranquility of the landscape.Our accommodation on the farm was spotlessly clean, cozy and comfortable.Overall, our stay at the Schäferhof in North Frisia was a bit magical. The combination of idyllic nature, warm hospitality and unforgettable experiences made this holiday a true gem. We will definitely come back and recommend this place to everyone.

We absolutely enjoyed the vacation. The location and the peace were incomparably beautiful.Our little daughter (1 year old) absolutely loved the animals and the playground.She took her first steps here ☺️☺️The apartments are comfortably furnished and very spacious.Bicycles can be rented directly on the farm (although we didn't use them this time).The farm tour to see the animals is highly recommended. For children it is an unforgettable experience to come into close contact with the animals (it was also very nice for us accompanying parents).The North Sea, Robbarium and Co can be reached in a short drive.Conclusion: the next vacation is basically already booked 🙂

Experience the pure farm - in the holiday apartment for relaxation on holiday or on an "educational trail across the farm, accompanied and guided by Maren" for school classes, daycare centers or on Wednesdays for small children with accompaniment... You are welcome and can learn a lot about it Life on the farm!
