I give this winery 5 full points.The old winemaker's house is very comfortably furnished. You can find beautiful decorations everywhere. Everything is consistent. The rooms were clean and had a beautiful view of the Moselle. For breakfast there was everything your heart could desire, from muesli, quark, yoghurt, various types of bread, jams, bacon, scrambled eggs, etc. The breakfast room is so cozy that you don't want to leave.The hostess was very friendly and helpful.The wine shop about 50m further is located directly on the Moselle. On the terrace on the 1st floor you can enjoy the valley and the Moselle.The wines were very good. My personal favorite was the Gewürztraminer, cuvée with Riesling.I would come back at any time. Thanks

Cozy, sunny roof terrace with a view of our own vineyards and the Moselle. Plus delicious wines with a fine selection of cheeses. The interior is also very nice and modern. The staff is very friendly and competent. Absolute recommendation!

The three of us wanted to rent a room there in June for August. First they wrote to us in the email that we could choose a date. We wrote back after 2 days when we had chosen an appointment. Then they said everything was full and they could offer us a room for November, which we thanked and declined. We didn't really understand it. The only way we could explain it was that they might want to rent out the rooms for a week rather than just a weekend. Because everyone is on vacation in Germany now.No matter we booked another hotel. Today we wanted to ask if we could do a wine tasting there. Whereupon the employee at the counter gave us very economical information and made it clear that it used to be there but that they no longer needed it. I give it one star because, despite all the disappointment, it looks quite nice and appealing.

We spent a week on holiday in the DAX family's old winemaker's house. We really liked the whole concept. The house is a bit in the English style a la bed and breakfast and we particularly liked the loving speech from Ms. DAX and the cozy ambience. In the evening we were able to use the kettle in the kitchen to make a hot water bottle for our little daughter and choose a wine that we then drank in the cozy courtyard. There were games and books in the cozy lounge.We really enjoyed the breakfast and the rolls were really tasty. There was also quark, yoghurt, scrambled eggs and a jar of Nutella was bought especially for our daughter. It's rare to have such an attentive hostess!The only thing that may have been a bit annoying was the traffic - we had a room facing the street and always slept with the window open. If you really want to do this, you may want to pack ear plugs. We really liked the cozy, super clean room. Unfortunately, our daughter “ignored” the extra bed and slept with us. The bed was big enough and very comfortable, even for three people. We also went to the wine shop in the evening. We really liked it there too. We wish the DAX family a relaxing winter and look forward to seeing you again.
