We stayed here recently for one night in a standard family room - we opted for one with two double beds which is unusual for a Holiday Inn Express which normally come with a double bed and then a double sofa bed.  …

The pillows were awesome, the bed was magnificent loved it the best bed ever. Thank you to Ali for finding us downstairs room due to my disability because unfortunately there are no lifts in this establishment. …

Our room was very big and spacious, extremely happy with that and the bathroom was very modern. They use dove shampoo, body wash and hand wash and I really liked this. The bed was comfortable and we had free breakfast included.Checkout was 11 and when I asked if we could pay to checkout later they said it would be £50!😅 so we declined. Could get another night stay for that. Also there is no lifts here, I am a blue badge user and have a disability, I can walk but I can’t walk very far, I don’t use a wheelchair full time so didn’t request an accessible room as I didn’t want to take it away from someone who actually is in a wheelchair full time. But we got allocated to an upstairs room which was quite literally on the other side of the hotel, I had to walk the stairs as there was no lift and had to walk along the hallway which was really difficult for me. I called to ask if we could move to a room downstairs by any chance and they said they could but it would be a much smaller room and a smaller bed. So I decided to stay where I was and struggle to get what I paid for! Not sure how accessible to accessible rooms are if they are smaller than what we were in so just note that. Where it is an old hotel I imagine that’s why they do not have a lift or different entry points.Parking was £5 for us for one night, make sure to get the discount code from reception otherwise it is about £9 I believe

First time staying at this hotel, definitely WILL NOT be the last, food okay, not much choice even with my eating issues but had a delicious pizza, breakfast was okay, again with my eating issues not too much choice, but I coped, disabled room was enormous! Not much storage space and as you get inside the door it’s a waste of space there, I would put more hanging space and a shelf perhaps for things, the bathroom was lovely, for me again the lower sink was a bit too low and I would have liked a shelf above it for putting my bathroom bits on, again, personal preference I found the toilet too high and so did my partner who is more able than me. We were 1st room in on the left near reception and eating area, when we were in the bedroom apart from people walking past we couldn’t hear anything going on outside in reception hardly . Lovely, friendly staff and very polite and helpful if we asked anything. WOULD RECOMMEND AND SEE YOU NEXT APRIL MAYBE

Booked via booking.com. Car parking advertised at £6 per night. When we checked in nothing was said about parking. I asked how we pay and was told that we could use the terminal in the lobby. …

We were greeted by the friendly and efficient Ali, and our experience was enjoyable from then on. Our ground floor accomodation was spacious with a well appointed shower room.  …

Buss stop is just outside and it's located nextdoor to a Sainsbury's supermarket. The staff are super friendly especially Ashley. The rooms are spacious and clean (probably the best hotel I ever stayed in) the garden aria is enclosed and quiet and the reception/bar/dinner is large and leads off into a large conservatory. Compared to the ibis that feels like an open prison, the holiday inn express deserves a reward and recognition.Couldn't recommend anywhere more than this place.

Comfortable bed in a huge room. Good facilities, except parking had to be paid for to an independent company. Got a supposed 50% reduction, but still had to pay half of £30 for 2 nights. Thought that was disgusting! We paid approximately £269 for 2 nights B&B already, so why were we charged for parking? Breakfast was good, but only scrambled egg - I prefer fried or poached eggs!

Would like to give Ethan, Ashley and Juan a special mention for looking after my partner and I so well. I’m not sure this includes the lady at reception who so efficiently checked us in earlier than the official check in time on Sat 28th Sept.Room was fine, as expected really.Only comments would be that the grounds surrounding and inside the hotel could do with some more TLC. As we parked up there was litter across the verge and 2 beer cans remained in the gardens - right by the doors into the building (as you cut across courtyard) - from the morning we arrived and still there as we went for breakfast next day.Handy location for the main road and they were only too pleased to help us with a snack on arrival. Thank you.

The hotel is fine with very helpful, friendly staff but please beware of parking in their car park which is operated by parking maven.  …
