Stayed here for 7 nights for work, initial thoughts were everything looked great, in place and clean and tidy. Rooms were well equipped for having your own tea or coffee, simply ask for more supplies if you run out. Rooms were clean, beds are brilliant (double room). Shower, bath etc everything was clean and no issues using. Access to room temp controller simple to use. Giuseppe on the front desk was 100%, the best customer service I have witnessed and received. Holly on the bar was 100%, pours a good pint and can chat away. Recommended some local food which was brilliant, knows the area very well. All in all, the Harlow hotel is a great stay. Would recommend and definitely return. Cheers guys and gals. Keep it up.

We stayed at the Harlow Hotel curtesy of Alfa Travel coach tours to visit London which is over an hour's drive away. The hotel is clean but very basic and hardly recognisable from their website photos.  …

A lovely greeting from reception and a pleasant surprise to find the pool table in the bar. My room was clean and well appointed with a very comfortable home from home bed and I slept well. The shower was good and the soaps provided were fragrant and fresh, breakfast however was lacklustre and there was a lack of urgency towards people who needed breakfast and needed to get going out. Around 10 people only were in the dining room and we all at some point had to wait for items to be replenished. The staff were painfully slow in all that they did, and there were huge gaps in the service. Watching business people become frustrated and inconvenienced by Items that had ran out was hard to watch. This cast a shadow over my stay as I ended up with an extremely poor and lacking breakfast and I would not return again.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The towels were changed most days although we felt this was not necessary. Tea and coffee making facilities replenished every day. …

Great nights stay prior to our early flight from Stansted. Staff were very helpful and the room price includes long stay car park at Stansted. Made our wake up reasonable rather than driving from London at 1am.

The room was adequate but had a foisty smell. The bathroom could do with an updated.|We were at the end of a corridor and directly next to the main road, which was constantly noisy so it was hard to sleep. |However the bed was comfortable, the shower was great and the staff were very pleasant.

Absolutely awful incompetence, giving out keys to already occupied rooms! We booked an overnight murder mystery stay with dinner. The charmless hotel receptionist twice gave us keys to rooms that were already occupied! The first room, I walked in on a lady in her underwear! Both rooms were opposite each other at the end of the longest corridor I've ever walked down in any hotel! So we had a wasted trek twice. The third and final room that was unoccupied... hallelujah! Was in the first floor, not ideal for my 75 year old mother!Still at least we got a room in the end.Further training wouldn't go a miss for the receptionist team who were not sympathetic or even trying to be any other than cool and emotionless!Food was ok, no complaints there.
