Are you SCOTTISH??? Then it is worth your while reading this BEFORE you make a booking with the worst hotel I have EVER had the injustice of sleeping in...I am a single mother, but a single mother who knows the laws of our land. The knowledge isn't actually all that helpful when one is tied up with British 'institutions' such as criminal law and civil law and on 'holiday'. This terrible business takes from single and stressed Scottish mothers and it does so with its own well-being at the top of the list. That is not the way that our nation's laws should be used, but hey, who cares when you are allowed to make hundreds of thousands from stressed mothers who do not have time to bring the law suits that I WILL!?So much has went wrong that I struggle with what to write on this review. One thing you should ALL know, however, is that this ugly building will take a huge deposit and then use your children as pawns against you! I did not take my son for a week long Blackpool adventure so that the hotel management could judge our divorce process! I actually love my son! Imagine someone loving, and wanting the best, for their son! The hotel does not. The hotel cannot.Also... My friend and her two children are with me. She made the HUGE 'MISTAKE' of coming down here when she was on her period! When THAT becomes used against you, then you must understand that you are dealing with people who will not take into account that men and women are different. Such things as sanitary towels become weapons that are used against you!3 days in and I have been harassed by poor hotel staff who believe it is their job to do as the management says. Only, the management of this hotel do so outside our nation's laws. Never before have I ever witnessed so many laws/acts being destroyed on a half hourly basis. I did not come here to argue about my nation's laws, but, unfortunately I could no longer take the suppression of our rights so frequently. I just want to go home. We arrived on Monday, it is now lunchtime on Wednesday and I struggle to utilize the oxygen that is scarcely available within this hole. It is THAT bad. As a fellow Scot, I urge that you do not use this terrible business. You will be as anguished as we now are (two mothers and three children). This is not the way a holiday is supposed to be.The hotel WILL NOT even recognize basic human needs. It is cold, but they will not put any heating on. We have cold children who we must shower (another problem) to keep them warm. We actually eat! What sort of deranged HUMAN BEING eats? Portions are tiny and slimey. Disgusting. We wash! Imagine that eh!? The hotel judges washing every day as a crime that should be punished... I could go on and on and on with this. Please, do the best thing for both yourself and your children and stay away from this burned out WW1 tank. The two of us agree on one thing - we are horrified and we would not come to this hotel again if it paid us to come. Stay away!
