Stayed here for one night, lady on the front desk (can’t remember her name unfortunately) was so accommodating for my mum with disability with such a warm welcome. Room was lovely & clean with extra pillows if needed. Great night sleep. Yes the hotel is under going renovations but it wasn’t an issue for just a nights stay.

This is the second time we have stayed here, and the staff are always friendly. The rooms are clean and tidy and the beds are really comfortable. |The only downside is the parking is very tight and there are very few spaces, so you’ll be lucky to get one when you check in.

Hotel was OK, sort of what we expected for a travelodge but bathroom especially was very dated, damaged and quite dirty. Service was good, only downside was our friend locked their key in their room and it was far too easy for us to go get another key without any name or booking checks, just gave a room number!Location is really good.Parking is handy and reasonable at £10 for 24 hours, quite tight spaces

We were not made aware that the hotel was being refurbished and were offered no discount. A fire door on the corridor was wedged open creating a massive fire/ safety risk. Bathroom door did not shut properly so distinct lack of privacy. Chipped and well worn bathroom. No availability for breakfast which was not stated when booked

I had a good experience here. The rooms are great. No hassle at all- this is the best part.Wonderful buffet breakfast with full English and lot more.Located right on the banks of the river with a view of the cathedral. It's not exactly in the city centre, a bit of a distance but totally walkable.Wonderful staff.

Cheap hotel. Parking is underground. £10 for 24 hours. Very tight spaces but does the job for cars. Room was on floor -1 which is below the ground floor and has a window that looks towards the River Irwell. The window was partially open when we got to the room and the room had so many spiders inside. Most alive some dead. Counted around 10 without even looking for them. Room should be cleaned before the guest arrives so I was very disappointed.

Not to be confused with Manchester Central Arena, of courseSolid location, nice and close to the Arndale and prime for taxis long as they don't mind parking in the cycle lane. Beds were nice and I can confirm at least 1 room has a bath in it, so that's always points in my book. There were no outlets next to the bed thoughLovely breakfast too, and very polite staff. Don't put your pancakes in the toaster, they'll do it for you if you ask

Quiet in general (unless you open the windows)6. Helpful staff7. Located very close to City Centre and tons of major shopsWeaknesses:1. No minifridge2. Prices increase dramatically on Saturdays and busy times3. Entrance is situated on a one-way road where cars can't stop drop you off - be advised when coming with an Uber/Bolt/taxi

Very good hotel, very helpful staff. Only downside for me was that the room was a bit of a let down. Some of the issues I experienced were: paint peeling, dirty curtains, dirty windows, chewing gum left from previous guests, hair from previous guests, stains on carpet. Overall positive experience and would stay again.

Hotel itself wasn't too bad. Few stains in the room on the bed and curtains but expected for a travel Lodge. Man behind the desk was lovely and friendly we got a warm welcome. It is very confusing to find by car. Not the hotel itself but their car park is pretty hidden away. We did end up circling around a few times which is a pain since it's all one way then chose to risk going down the tiny side way that did say parking and found out it's sort of underneath/behind the building itself which is why we couldn't see it. Parked up and got our ticket which didn't expire until 13:30 the next day and we left before 12pm the next day. We did pay a little extra for early check in and late check out due to being there for a concert. Anyway fast forward 17 days later we get a letter in the post claiming we didn't pay for parking. On the letter/fine it actually said we left at 11:45am. Our ticket which we luckily saved in the car was valid until 13:30. We've luckily been able to appeal it with the evidence we saved but I know most people would not save their parking tickets that long! Letter was sent out 8 days after our stay but we didn't receive it until almost 3 weeks after our stay. So just a big warning if you park in the travel Lodge car park to save your ticket! I can only imagine the amount of people they've scammed out of money claiming they've not paid when they have due to them not saving their evidence. The appeal is still on going but we literally have the proof. So yeah that part is pretty much the only reason for the bad review. Please be careful!Update: After they received proof we paid for our parking ticket they then wanted proof we stayed at the hotel (grasping at straws now for our money) so we had to open a new appeal and send proof of that which we obviously had. They took a very long time to sort it all out for us (of course) but finally dropped the fine. However they did say next time they wouldn't as you're supposed to tell travel Lodge you have come by car yet no one asked us that on arrival! They're just trying to get you to fall through the gaps so they can take your money basically. We paid for our parking and our stay yet got made to feel like criminals. Won't be back!
