Room smelled like a sewer, with mould and warping on the floor by the shower in the bathroom. Staff ok but not exactly welcoming. Air con unit was loud and sounded like it was going to fall off the wall. Poor internal sound proofing - heard a lot of banging from the room above and some late night checked in guests laughing outside my room at midnight. No close public transport links (15-20 min walk to barking station). Room key works 1/3 times if you’re lucky. Shower either freezing cold or burning you. Plug sockets right in the corner on desk, none next to bed. No kettle in room. Checked out a night early and travelled 4 hours home rather than stay the final night, which is a first for me!If you’re walking there from the station you have to go down an alley which feels extremely unsafe after dark. Oh and it’s in Barking. For around £90 per night (mid week), awful value for money.

Decent room, good for needing a bed, a place to sleep and a shower. Staff were polite but nothing to write home about, bed was comfortable but the pillows were a little worn down. A good budget stay for a weekend where you're away from the room a lot.

The people here are phenomenal. And the breakfast is second to none. I am sure the location contributes to thereasonable price but seriously.....plant some trees in front and knock down the noise from the carriageway. Prepare for a good 20 minute walk through a very diverse neighborhood from the underground. Tesco next door is super convenient.

Staff were excellent accommodating my 3am check-in. The room and bathroom were tiny but clean, and the bed was very comfortable. It is on a busy dual carriage, but there is a Costa and Tesco superstore next door.My room was near the back, and I did not hear any noise my entire stay. The blackout blinds done their job, allowing my partner and I to sleep like babies.Parking is £8, we paid £30 extra for late check-out, which was until 5 pm!!

The hotel meets the bare minimum a bed, a bathroom, and a TV – but that’s about it. No kettle, ironing equipment, or other basic amenities you’d expect for travelers. You might think, “fair enough, it’s budget accommodation,” but at £100-£164 per night, it feels a bit steep. There was also a slight smell coming from the bathroom that lingered throughout my two-night stay, and being next to a busy road made it quite noisy.A small bottle (500ml) of water is £2.50 so it’s best to take the 6 minute walk to Tesco’s next door and get 4 litres for £2.80. Don’t drink the tap water it doesn’t taste right 😐Breakfast is basic but decent enough, no complaints there. However, a major issue I encountered was with the room key cards. I couldn’t access my room and went to reception for a replacement card. They simply asked for my room number and reprogrammed the card. When I got back, it didn’t work, and I realised I had given them the wrong room number. Shockingly, I now had access to a neighbor’s room. I went back to inform the staff, but they didn’t seem bothered and reissued a card for the correct room without checking my ID or booking details. This is something management urgently needs to address for the safety and security of their guests. The card constantly has to be reactivated and if you put it anywhere near your phone it’ll be wiped.

For what it is, 4 star feels fair. It's all very very small and basic, but that's what they're aiming at. We arrived at 4pm, checked in, went straight out to the gig we had tickets for. Got back at 1 am. Comfortable bed, a good sleep. Nice shower in the morning and checked out. Didn't have breakfast as lots of places local. For us it was perfect. If I was spending a week in London exploring the sights I wouldn't pick it, but a 1 night crash pad, spot on

Generally good hotel given it's the cheapest I could find that weekend that was less than an hour from excel london by public transport, bathrooms were solid, breakfast was as mediocre as any budget hotel is, but tbf but it was still stuff I'd happily eat for the morning. Most of my complaints are relatively minor, I didn't like the hard mattress but that's personal preference, you could hear traffic passing by a night from my room which was distracting at times and the keycards were not great, they would be a nightmare to scan and get the door to open very often failing and taking sometimes over 5 minutes of attempts to get into my room, very annoying and honestly my biggest issue, you really feel the weight of having been on your feet all day and just wanting to rest and relax for a bit in your room when the last door refuses to open.I would reccommend it if you are on a budget and want to visit the area, but if you can justifiably stay somewhere a bit more expensive you get what you pay for.

Great location. The room is VERY clean and decent. It's kind of warm (the weather was warm generally) and a bit small. Although there's a cooling fan. But for that price, I can't complain too much

great aircon, large room and bathroom...well located...Mehwish and others at reception great and attentive. Nearby Tesco and bus stops...quite and comfortable. Booking and checkin were seamless. Much better value than premier inn anf travelodge. Just that small kettles in rooms could be provided..

For a two star hotel it's quite suprising how nice it is. It was really clean and quiet despite being next to a busy road. The staff was really helpful too. We arrived a few hours before the regular check in time and got our rooms at once. It's a 10-15 minute walk from the Barking tube station which is more than I anticipated but quite doable. The tube takes you right into the center of the city so this hotel is an excellent choice for visiting London on a budget.
