Room was clean and comfortable and had two spare pillows for the bed. No lock on the bathroom door and could hear everything happening in the bathroom from the bedroom.Biggest downside to the hotel was construction started next door at 6.55am every morning with concrete being drilled. Windows block out some of the noise but if it’s too hot and you need the window open, you’re going to have to choose between fresh air or horrifically loud noises. I didn’t even hear my alarm because the drilling was louder than my alarm.Staff were polite but only ever one person on reception, even during check in times which meant you were waiting a long time to check in. Key cards were also very temperamental and I had to try mine in my door around 20 times

I had a lovely experience, there was a nice lad at the bar called haarun who had great chat! Overall good hotel with decent views which were nice and quiet from our room. Good location which was near transport and popular restaurant. Overall very happy with my experience here and would recommend to a friend!

stayed overnight as going to a concert at the AO Arena. very well situated, less than 5 minutes walk from the arena & 10 minutes to the railway station. Was clean & tidy with helpful, pleasant staff. Breakfast hot & well stocked. Late bar was a great bonus when returning from concert.

The room was spotless, and the overall service was excellent. Haarum, who served us in the restaurant, was especially kind and attentive, making our dining experience wonderful. Thanks to all the staff for a memorable stay. We enjoyed our stay.

Staff were polite and friendly. The desk and chair was nice and comfortable. However, there were many issues with the room. When I walked in, the room smelled very stuffy (like old wet dirty socks). I have informed the reception and they sprayed some freshnere on the carpet/ window blinds, but it didn’t change anything. The room was a bit cold, but the heater was very difficult to switch on.. was quite useless really.Toilet soap & shampoo dispensers were both broken when I arrived. One member of staff came up wo fix them but only fixed one so I had to ask again for the other dispenser which they managed to fix after that.. not great experience. There was also loud bang noises on the 2 mornings I was in, it seemed like someone from staff was trying to open/ close a door that won't properly open/ close. It was loud and annoying.

-I arrived, checked in, and provided my room key. The room key did not work. I was told it could take 2 minutes to activate, which took 20 and 4 tine of going down to reception to resolved. …

Towels and bedding were clean but the Mugs had clearly not been cleaned and it made me think what else wasn’t. There was still leftover coffee in the bottom of the mugs and lip marks from the person before so clearly hygiene is not a priority here. It’s also right next to a building site which wasn’t indicated online at the time of booking. They have a smoking area at the back but won’t let you use it. And no cigarette bins outside so where are you meant to put them? Clearly been used at times because the ashtrays in the tables are all full and left there.. is it only staff that get to use it? Just what you don’t need after 10hours of travel.
