The room is a bit basic, but clean and not cramped. Excellent location for visiting the city. Staff are friendly and helpful. Lift to reception is a bit bumpy. Pool looked good, but did not get a chance to use it. On site parking was handy, but morons can virtually park you in if you are not careful. Breakfast was very good, with a quality that you could tell. Good dietary requirement options too. Thanks

Great hotel. The staff are helpful and friendly and I came back from a days adventures to a tidy room and restocked tea things. The location is very convenient as it's just up the hill from the train station. Would definitely recommend the buffet breakfast. It is good food with wide range and my kids loved it. The rooms are as expected: clean, neat but not anything special.

We stayed in a suite for our anniversary and a family visit to an event at City Hall. We were extremely happy with the location of the hotel but the pool, facilities (or lack thereof) and room were quite lacking. The pool was very small, though nice and warm and clean but the changing area was absolutely tiny with basically no private place to get changed or shower. Having gone once, neither of us chose to use the pool again due to this and that was ashame, since we picked the hotel specifically for the pool.Secondly our room was disappointing. To book a Suite at a 4 star hotel, you expect a plush room. The bed was great, big and comfy but the rest of the room was tired, dated and largely unusable. The toilet was a pain to flush, and was in a prison like tiny room with no sink. The living room area was nice, but the colours and walls were not fresh or modern. All in all, our room felt less plush than the standard room my parents were staying in. We also requested a walk in shower for that room as my parents are pensioners and we're assured this had been allocated. It turned out they did not have a walk in shower at all. Very disappointing. Our stay was pleasant regardless as the staff were kind and helpful and the hotel was in a great location for our event and the centre of Sheffield. We appreciated the card and cakes in our room for our anniversary and the hotel had ensured our other requests were taken care of. Sadly I do not feel we would stay again due to poor facilities for the pool as this is often something we like for our hotel stays and the tired, dated rooms are not to our liking.

Stayed at the Novotel Sheffield for one night, and it was a pretty good experience overall. The location is super convenient, right in the city center, making it easy to explore Sheffield. The room was clean, spacious, and had all the essentials – a comfy bed, a good shower, and even a nice little work desk. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the check-in/check-out process was smooth. I didn’t get to try out the restaurant or bar, but they seemed nice and had a good vibe. Overall, it's a solid choice if you’re looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Sheffield.

We stayed here for three nights after our wedding in Sheffield on the 30th August. The room was clean and comfortable with the housekeeping staff always on hand to replenish anything needed. …

Lovely and professional services provided by Margaret and the team (including Monica). Our daughter was not well and Margaret went the extra miles by checking on us everyday, she is an exceptional lady! We will definitely come back again. Thank you. Christina & Family.

Wonderful location in the city centre with chargeable parking on site. There's a bar and restaurant and a swimming pool. Only downside was our bath was out of order but we had a separate shower anyway (hence 4 stars). These days a separate toilet is quite the novelty! Cooked breakfast was good.

Very nice reception area and bar etc. Rooms were clean and large bed was decent. |Rooms are fully stocked with everything you need including a fridge and iron which is a decent touch.|Bathroom/toilet in room a little old fashioned and mould on grout in bath/shower

We stayed 3 nights. The positives:The room was large and comfortable and in a good location for the city centre and station. It is pet friendly. It had a fridge, kettle (with tea&coffee), decent size TV and a good sofa. The hotel was very clean. The only negatives we had were:1. No air conditioning - we had to open the window and use the supplied fan which was adequate but as a result was noisy from road noise and fan noise.2. Swimming pool - the water in the pool was very warm so not refreshing. It’s a small pool but adequate. We had to book a an hour time slot as only 8 people at a time can use it.

Lowcashon for city Center good and with parking at £18. Lifts very old and dirty. Room very dated and tired. Breakfast was good for £18 each. But paying £150 per night was a Saturday night for the rooms is way over priced. …
