Great place ! The prices are totally reasonable for what you get! The people are always nice ! The rooms have some type of lockers but you need your own lock. They have save boxes too but again need your own lock. There is a big kitchen and a few nicee big spaces to work from the hostel. There are no curtains on the beds

This was my first hostel experience and overall is was great. I think the fact that the girls in my room were super sweet and welcoming heavily contributed to my pleasant stay. I stayed in the 10 person room and we all had our own small storage under our beds. My lock mechanisms was missing, so I wasn't able to use my padlock to lock my stuff. Luckily I had no issues of theft or feeling unsafe or suspicious of anyone in the room.I did knock them down a star in service, even though everyone I interacted with was pleasant and helpful, I did notice during peak times (3pm check-in) there was usually only one person working the desk causing a line to build up.

Great location right by the park and museum. I found the girl’s dorms very sweet with the red curtains and “bar” tables. The high ceiling in the common room gives a very open feel to the relaxation area and makes conversing, watching a movie, or even working pleasurable.I will say having the bathrooms as en-suite is not the best as you have to wait one at the time for the shower and it may get noisy if someone is in there while you sleep. Other than that, the dorms are very clean. The staff are excellent here, super friendly and helpful. They are also very informational and whenever you ask them a question they have an answer for you, and if not, go to find an answer. Max J was of great help with this, as he went out of his way to assist me with any questions I had about extending my stay even if I didn’t have a credit card.Would def recommend if you want a great place to stay in Central London!

This is the third time we're staying at Astor Hyde Park Hostel, starting in 2018, and we're gonna try to be back next year for round four.As teachers of student groups, the hostel suits our needs perfectly. It is reasonably priced for what it offers. We do not expect the place to be squeaky clean, and yes, sure, some showers are a little mouldy. But the staff is friendly, helpful and flexible at all times, the location is top notch (safe, quiet, great connection to Heathrow) and ultimately the place is great for what we're looking for. We've been to other hostels in the London area in the past where we experienced thievery, lost sleep over the rowdy crowd and had to commute for ages.Astor Hyde Park Hostel is a great place if you don't want to spend a fortune, are fine with simple accommodations and want a central place to explore the city. Thanks for another great week, until next year!

Really enjoy my time here every time. The Vibes Is great, large theater room and kitchen as well as a large eating area. I'm never fighting for a seat. I've always felt safe here with the people and environment. The staff are great, Max J was a big help in general, from local advice to good conversation, he is a Hyde park gem! I would stay here again :-)

Astor Hyde Park has an incredible location, with a bus stop to central London just 2 minutes away. The vibe inside is really nice, and I highly recommend booking the all-female dorm if you're a girl. The accommodation is very safe and secured. The staff was exceptionally sweet, friendly, and accommodating, always helpful in every way. The rooms were amazing—clean, spacious, and with well-made, soft beds. The washrooms were also neat and tidy. Highly recommend!

My first hostel experience— and I wasn't let down! Very busy, communal atmosphere and great location & value. Bunks ARE triples, if that's an issue for you. Kitchen space is nice, laundry services are offered.

It was a wonderful first experience at a hostel. The bed assignment wasn't controlled very tightly but when asked the staff really assisted. The lockers in the rooms fit suitcases nicely but again it wasn't clearly marked whose belonged to whom and was up for grabs. My son and I shared and I don't think there was an empty one. Showers were nice water pressure and stayed on for a good hair wash!. Front desk was super friendly and helpful especially the night crew on our 2nd stay. I didn't catch his name but the young man from England and big hair was a great complement to the young lady who seemed to be in charge of the desk. It felt very safe, clean and comfortable. Very reasonable to leave our bag for an extra night for a hop up to Scotland.

Worst and dirtiest place I have ever been in my life. I don't know where the good comments are coming from, they might be paying people to give them good reviews...Here you can see some general dirty common areas (and a towel on the corridor laying there for two days) all the dirt on my room and behind my bed and the way they change the sheets (they put the pillows and everything on the dirty floor). On the three days I hace been there, they did not clean the bathroom. Everything was so disgusting I wanted to puke...
