Honestly, I’ve never heard snoring like this in my life. It was like a full-on Pokémon battle, everyone competing to see who could snore the loudest! Out of six people in the room, five were snoring, and then there was me, wide awake. And two of those snorers? My best mates!Luckily, Laura and Bambito, two amazing colleagues, stepped in and saved me. They kindly moved me to another room, and I finally got some peaceful, uninterrupted sleep. Thank you both so much, you’re lifesavers! 🙏🏻

This so-called hotel has been an absolute dream for anyone seeking an adventure full of new experiences. Many options to get an adrenaline rush were not included in the price. Steep and narrow stairs make you want to pray, and toilets with piss still on them almost guarantee you’ll catch something like HIV or AIDS. Yummy, yummy.I found two used forks in our room, clearly showing that nobody is cleaning. Disgusting. And 50-year-old men walking around half-naked, wearing only underwear around minors.I don’t even want to begin with the dry breakfast, half of which consisted of small, stale croissants that were obviously bought from the local Sainsbury’s just two minutes away. Some of the room heaters couldn’t be turned off, resulting in stuffy rooms—perfect for people looking for a vacation in a warmer climate. You must be thinking there has to be something good about this place. Well, we did have a window… 5 inches wide, on our ceiling, that we couldn’t close, which meant it rained into our room. Absolutely wonderful, since I prefer the tropics anyway. There was a hole next to my bed that someone probably punched due to a psychotic episode caused by staying here.A bed bug was found in the room next to us, a loyal companion in this adventures trip.I don’t want my money back. However, I would like money to pay for my stay at a psychiatric hospital. I have become depressed, anxious, schizophrenic, and now suffer from severe PTSD that will evolve into generational trauma. My great-great-grandchildren will still have to deal with it. I’ll forever wake up at night, paranoid that my bed is infested with bed bugs. This trauma is burned into my DNA.Anyone who gave this place more than one star have completely gone insane or are the ones who are allowed to smoke weed 24/7

The hostel is what you would expect for the price. Nothing fancy, but good enough. The bed was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast (£5 if you book direct) is fine if you arrive early enough. …

The customer service was very good. I was checked in at 3am due to a technicality where the hostel was fully booked on the system but had a sapre room. Very good value for money in London however some guy sleeping beneath me kept slamming the luggage cage against the bed in the morning, I have no idea why he was doing this. Still the receptionist was very friendly and did their best to accommodate me, though they could do with a system upgrade so the system works faster.

Let's start with the good. I didn't have breakfast, but from what I saw, it was adequate and worth the price. The bedding is also very comfortable for a hostel, and the showers are spacious and private with good water pressure despite some uncleanliness. The wifi worked for me with no issues. The hostel is also close to public transport, and I enjoyed taking the ferry into the city center. The surrounding neighborhood is also cute and has a market on the weekend. For the bad: literally everything else. I have stayed in 8 hostels across Europe and the US, and this is the worst I have ever encountered. My bed had no pillow, the outlet didn't work, and half the curtains were missing. My locker was also broken, so I had to use another. Forget about having room to lock up a suitcase. You will be lucky to fit it in the room at all. The toilets didn't flush properly, and two of the sinks in the bathroom were broken. The laundry machines were also broken. Some of the people staying in my room appeared to be vagrants, and I noticed that one man who was in his bed every time I entered or exited the room slept in his clothes and stored a bottle of wine under his bed. Not sure if St. Christopher's is attempting to rebrand as a halfway house, but it did not make me feel very safe. The "chill out room" in the basement was dirty (the floor sticky in some places, someone left his nail clippings on one of the tables) and had only a few plug outlets. There is no refrigerator, so you cannot store food. There was actually a kettle, which was nice, but it mysteriously disappeared on the third day of my stay, much like a pair of my pants. Not sure if the people cleaning the room took them or what but I'm not happy about it. Other reviews have complained about the smell. I would say it is noticeable, but not unpleasant. If you really have no other choice then you can stay here, just know that it will not even have the bare minimum of comfort.

Nice friendly welcoming atmosphere, good food and discounted drinks for those staying at hostel. Bar is open to general public with live entertainment at weekends. All beds come with small light, plug socket and two usb ports, each bed comes with additional privy curtains which adds to comfort. Free laundry facilities but need to supply own washing powder. Located right next to Greenwich train station and 5 minutes walk to main park or central.

Quite a let down. The location is the main attraction for this venue, and I can't fault the staff or bar really. But beyond that, quite a disappointment. …

Despite the reviews I decided to stay here and found on my stay there was no issues, my room was perfectly clean (room 12) and the other strangers I shared a room with were respectful, the room had 2 skylights and a massive ceiling mounted fan to keep it cool. It's very conveniently placed Right next door to the Greenwich Station so found it easy to navigate around, I would stay here again
