Hubby and I stayed for a night and were pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and en-suite clean too.  …

QUICK U-TURN AND DID NOT STAYI booked a double room with an ensuite for £70 for the night. While the website claims the place is 'clean and comfortable,' I strongly disagree. My wife and I entered through a side gate and were immediately greeted by filthy fire escape-style steps leading to a bridge over a courtyard filled with cigarette butts.Upon entering the reception, we were hit with a horrendous damp smell and saw stained carpets everywhere. We walked through another door, only to face numerous flights of stairs, all with more stained carpets and bad odour throughout. After finally finding our room, we were disappointed to discover the smallest 4ft 6in double bed, the same musty damp smell, and more stained carpets. The décor was in poor condition, and the blind in the ensuite was covered in mould. To make matters worse, the pub's opening hours were Wednesday to Sunday, 7:30 pm to 2:00 am, and as our room was directly above the smokers' courtyard. The noise would have made it impossible to sleep. We quickly turned around and decided not to stay. Instead, we booked a nearby Premier Inn for £100.AVOID

Great value, room was clean, decent shower. Great location. Friendly staff. For the money, I can't fault anything. Turned up, check in was very quick. Bed was comfy, sheets and pillows immaculate. Tv had good working channels which is rare for cheaper hotels

The room was just very dirty, no effort seemed to have been put into cleaning anything, the floor and furniture was just dirty. It smelled bad, as soon as I walked it the bad smell hit me, i’ve never stayed at a hotel with a bad smell. Also the bathroom light is outside the bathroom, accessible to other guests in the hotel, which is not a smart design at all, as others guests can just turn off your bathroom light if they wanted to.

Staff friendly, it's cheap for london, close to a station direct into London. |Issues were.|Half a toilet roll for 2 people for 2 night. Pub was closed later so no one to help. Had to buy our own. |Window in toilet is clear. …

This was the most disgusting place I have ever stayed in!||We were allocated room 29 which boasted its own bathroom...1 floor up from the actual room. …

Perfect price for the room! It’s clean and tidy. You can get everything you needed. The Stag Enfield is extremely worth the price. The rooms are clean, nice, and surprisingly quiet. …

We were having a wedding at the registry office, virtually next door and thought it would be polite and informative to pop in a week before our event to notify them that we would be having 60 or more people, who would be likely to use the pub. It stated on the website that it was open from 12.00pm on Fridays. When we spoke with the manager he stated that on the Friday he will be opening at 4.00pm which we thought was disappointing as our event was at 3.00pm. He seemed to have zero interest as he said he was busy, despite the potential revenue we tried to offer him.On the day he was the only person serving and the feedback from our guests suggested he was very rude, seemed surprised and overwhelmed with the amount of people.I wouldn't recommend given any custom to this local public house which is such a shame, as all we wanted to do was support this local business and provide refreshmentsfor the guests. He really seemed to lack interpersonal skills and seemed very awkward and cold.

I stayed at the top of the building in a fair sized room that was really basic. |You couldn't check in at 3 as no-one was around until 4.|The duvet was so thin that I slept fully clothed to stay warm . …

Small bar, doesn't really get busy.. owner took TV's out so if you looking for a sports game not the place. They have few events thru the week of different variety, Pride Social / Ladies Night / Quiz evening. Reality cheap booze. Great venue for locals.. at bus stop so transport no issue and trains close by. Not a place for a big party, maybe just a meeting point to start a night in Enfield. Rooms I have never been in but sounds as if they are always booked with separate entrance to bar.
