Unfortunately we were given a very small room. If I were to book again I would ask for a larger room or a balcony before booking, but I wouldn't want to pay more. I honestly think it was too small for a couple, even with luggage for just one night. It does have a rooftop terrace that we would like to have tried. But the weather didn't make using that possible. Otherwise, it is a hotel mainly about its location, which is of course perfect for Covent Garden and shopping, but Soho is a bit of a walk. It is clean and very modern but I missed the spacious, classic and historic feel of other hotels in this price band in the area. After my stay the management contacted me and were very kind and wanted to hear about my stay and seemed really interested in making the best they can of the hotel for guests who might want to come back.I would give it another try if I could go maybe in the Spring, use the roof terrace and have a larger room. Another positive is that the bed was really comfortable and the room was very quiet, great sleep :)

This is a fabulous hotel very close to Waterloo Station and covent garden. Firstly the staff every member of staff was superb especially Jessica and Furan who made our stay special. The hotel was just right for our 3 night stay. Breakfast was fantastic, fresh, and plenty of choice .highly recommend this hotel 5*, and we will return.

The location is amazing and the rooms looks modern, but sadly that's were the positives stop. They skimped on everything else. The bed was the most UNCOMFORTABLE BED I have ever slept on. The pillows were not much better. Rooms are tiny. Towels were faded and appeared old. No coffee-maker in rooms. Just hot water but no tea bags. Windows won't open. Sink was clogged. Shower glass was too narrow for shower head so water always got out.Rooftop view and setup was nice but the staff was slow and some were rude.If these things could be fixed, the location would be worth the stay.

We were placed on the first floor directly above the bar. While we noted during the day that we could barely hear anything from the outside noise, apparently Saturday night turned into a nightclub and we could hear the load music coming through the floor until well past midnight. Our sleep was terrible and we likely won't be staying again, we will also not be recommending our friends stay here. The room was also quite small for what we paid. the bathroom as always was fantastic although really could have done with a bath facility. No access to rooftop bar, the main reason for us choosing this place to stay. Very disappointed. Will be going elsewhere in future. Either a better equivalent hotel or a more budget friendly option as we decided to pay the extra cost for these facilities over a basic hotel to then be turned away on the night was very disappointing.Price should reflect lack of access to rooftop bar, we based our whole stay on this and we were denied access with no prior warning. We should have booked a cheaper hotel as we would have had the same facilities. This closure should have been notified ahead of time.Better sound proofing is needed for first floor rooms as the nightclub downstairs makes it a very uncomfortable stay. Stay was ruined by the lack of access to the rooftop bar as well as the nightclub music emanating from the ground floor into our first floor room located directly above it.Extra star given because the rooms and vibe were lovely otherwise and the staff were fantastic. Otherwise, we were originally happy repeat customers but we don't plan on staying at the Amano Covent garden again.

The location is Okay very near Covent Garden market and the theatres. Not very convenient to Underground stops about 10 m walk to either nearby. But many bars and restaurants very close.Rooms are moderately sized European with overall poor lighting and poor storage for clothing and accessories. Beds are very comfortable.Continental breakfast was very reasonably priced with large assortment of meat cheese and juices cereals pancakes eggs etc great hearty fare to start your day only £20 BUT a flute of champagne was relatively expensive at £17 per!We all found the reception people were friendly and helpful but not always perfectly knowledgeable about local travel so do your own research for directions.

I stayed here for one night for my 40th birthday. Staff were amazing and helpful and I received a lovely note and chocolate birthday treat in my room when I checked in. The Amano signature scent across the hotel is lush! Equally, the decor and layout made it feel exclusive and unique to the area. The only reasons for not giving 5 stars was only due to:- No openings on the window (I'm not a fan of air con and I tend to feel isolated a small room)- it didn't appear to have great extraction (if any) in the small bathroom which meant it became extremely hot quite quickly and I had to wipe areas down to prevent the condensation increasing! Beautiful shower though, with great pressure.Overall, great for a short stay with everything very close to reach.Thank you Amano 💜

It’s a good hotel, the reception were okay, they didn’t seams that happy, but the room was pretty good, it was clean and quite large. The room service couldn’t really speak English besides a young man, his name was Amrit and he was very friendly and a person that you want to talk for long, he was helpful and polite, not like the receptionist. The hotel is quite close to the main central attraction, and I could take 3 trains to get back to the hotel, so travelling wasn’t a problem.I like the hotel and I will definitely recommend it for of the price, but I will prefer some better custom service from the receptionist.
