I recently stayed at the hotel and found it very pleasant. the rooms were good and there was a nice atmosphere in the lobby and bar area. I also used the pool whilst I was there which was lovely with a steam room and sauna. I had trouble with one of the lockers but had help from a young lady called Sian who was really lovely and came to assist me.

Perfect location for my needs, 2 minutes from a venue I needed to attend. Clean and comfortable room, great Grill bar. Lots of choices for breakfast, so definitely add that on. On site parking with a fee of £5 per day was a perfect addition to my stay. As well use of the gym or pool for £5. Very friendly and attentive staff at reception and breakfast.

The fitness center was impressive, featuring a range of high-quality equipment. I particularly enjoyed the large swimming pool and the rejuvenating sauna. The dining options at the pub and grill were delightful, with delicious meals that showcased the chefs' skills. A special mention goes to Alex, who provided exceptional service at the bar. I am writing to express my deep disappointment with my recent stay at your hotel, where I have been a loyal guest on numerous occasions. Unfortunately, this time, my experience was far from satisfactory.Upon attempting to enter my room, I found that the room key card was not functioning. After promptly reporting the issue to reception, I was assured that maintenance would be sent to address the problem. However, after waiting for 15 minutes, I was informed that maintenance could not be located, and the duty manager would be up shortly. Another 5 minutes passed before Eloise, the duty manager, arrived. To my dismay, Eloise's demeanor was nonchalant and dismissive. She informed me that the room card reader was out of charge, adding that "these things happen," without any hint of concern for the inconvenience caused. When I inquired about possible compensation or a goodwill gesture for the disruption, she abrasively responded that there was nothing she could do.This entire experience left me feeling not only annoyed and distressed but also deeply disappointed in the level of customer service provided. As a repeat guest, I expected better from a hotel that I had previously enjoyed staying at. Unfortunately, after this experience, I will not be returning, and I can no longer recommend this hotel to others.I sincerely hope that you take this feedback seriously and address the issues I encountered, so other guests do not have to endure the same level of frustration and poor service.

I have been a member of the Village Hotel Gym in Borehamwood for several months now, and I am extremely disappointed with the current state of the facilities. Despite paying over £80 a month, the steam room has been out of order for weeks with no indication of when it will be fixed. This is unacceptable as access to a fully functioning steam room is a key part of the membership I am paying for.The showers are in a deplorable state with mould all over the silicone. This is not only unsightly but also raises concerns about hygiene and maintenance standards. It's distracting and frankly off-putting.Furthermore,several machines, including treadmills, have been out of order for weeks. This significantly impacts the quality of workouts and is very frustrating given the high membership fee.Whenever I ask the staff at reception about when these issues will be resolved, they have no clue. The lack of information and apparent disregard for member concerns is extremely disappointing.I expect these issues to be addressed promptly and improvements made to ensure that all facilities are in working order and maintained to a high standard. Until then, I cannot recommend this gym to others and am seriously considering my membership options.

This is a great hotel. The rooms are comfortable, the food is good. Served pretty quickly and always hot. The only thing I hate and this is probably more to do with the 3rd party car parking company is the amount of Individuals who are not disabled. ( No blue badge displayed in the car) Parking in the disabled bays. Most of the time it's people that are going to the gym. Too lazy to walk that little bit further by parking further away. There are more than enough spaces in the car park. This really needs to be addressed

recently enjoyed a fantastic stay at the Village Hotel Watford, and I can't recommend it enough! The venue is not just a hotel; it's a welcoming retreat with outstanding facilities. The Bar & Grill offers delicious food that truly stands out, and the service from the staff is exceptional. A special shoutout to Alex, who consistently went above and beyond to make sure I had a wonderful experience, especially during busy nights. The rooms are comfortable and equipped with air conditioning, which was a blessing during my stay. The hotel is impressively clean, creating a pleasant atmosphere throughout. I also appreciated having an on-site Starbucks, where the friendly staff served up my favorite coffee and snacks. The pool area is superb and well-maintained, providing a great spot to unwind. The reception team is incredibly welcoming, with Dan always ready to brighten your day with some witty banter after a long drive.Overall, the hospitality at Village Hotel Watford is top-notch. I look forward to returning for another visit and would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family!
