All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room and bathroom were spotless. We had a great view across the Heath from the room. The buffet style breakfast was extensive and plentiful. …

The Clarendon Hotel was fantastic it had character rooms were actually really nice the bed was really comfortable and I slept really well. We had tea and coffee. The shower was very nice, although I did let them know that I had the shower door didn't close properly. I think it was a new shower door. The staff were very, very welcoming, friendly, willing to help anything you needed. To be honest with you, I met the lovely manager of the hotel and I shook his hand. Very nice gentleman. Sorry if I can't remember your name but the stay there was just absolutely wonderful. The breakfast was wonderful. The service was wonderful. Do anything for me as a disabled person. There are quite a few stairs like going to the room. There was a few steps but I could manage just those out in the lobby. I would have to go downstairs to the toilet so unfortunately doesn't help a disabled person. So I'm not sure if it's suitable for someone in a wheelchair. Although they do have a lift they may have disabled rooms. I didn't ask so that's my fault for not asking. I would love to come and stay here again. I especially as my husband stayed there while I was having surgery at kings College hospital and it's not far from the cable car to take you over to the XL so if you have anything at the Excel was fantastic. Taxi wasn't expensive so if you wanted a taxi I think the taxing to London cost me 32 lb. So pretty good really. But I just like to say thank you to the staff because I had a lovely stay with my friends as we were going to a convention at the XL. I'll definitely be staying here again and thank you to the lovely lady and gentleman at the reception desk who done everything they could to help us and even upgraded our room which was lovely. It was so nice to have a treat of an upgrade, so hopefully I'd like to see them over Christmas and the new year to bring my husband up there for a nice special time in London. Once again thank you to all the staff including the people that make the breakfast and the cleaners. It was just a wonderful stay

We're huge fans of the Clarendon. We used to live in Blackheath, and now that we live in coastal Kent we come back regularly to see groups of friends, or for work events, and stay here overnight. …

Love the hotel's ambience, staff, and location. The hotel did an awesome job in accommodating and hosting our charity - Ex-Mays Global Charity - held at the hotel from Oct. 11-13. I will definitely stay at the hotel again whenever I come back to London for a personal visit. Thank you!

Very helpful, friendly staff who were all excellent from reception to housekeeping. Dining area and food were lovely and bedrooms clean but a little dated. Lovely views over the heath with good amenities nearby.

Nice room, breakfast very good with friendly and helpful staff in the restaurant and at reception. Excellent location on the edge of Blackheath, so easy access to the heath and Greenwich Park, plus local shops and restaurants. Our room was a little warmer than we liked for sleeping, and we found it difficult to lower. Breakfast finished at 9:30 on a weekday, which as a little early for us. But we still enjoyed our visit and would stay here again.

My fiends and I booked a room with four beds for the weekend of October 12th. We arrived as planned and the check-in process was smooth. Trouble started the next when I was unable to open the door lock from within the room. …
