Great location, staff is incredibly helpful and kind. Food is good, and the breakfast deal is incredibly convenient. The rooms are spacious enough, and there are lockers for each bed. Cleanliness isn't perfect, but it was good enough. Definitely recommended for traveling alone. I felt safe and comfortable!

Female room #404, bed #4 had bed bug, got bitten. Room itself was spacious with 5 beds but the en-suite bathroom did not work. The room had a bad smell. The carpet was damp and dirty. Bunk beds made sound whenever someone made any movement. Uncomfortable small mattress. The room was stuffy and hot. Bad ventilation. In addition, two women snored non-stop.Next day moved to mixed room #203 with 6 beds. The room itself was so much smaller. The room had the same bad damp smell. Bad ventilation and dirty carpet. Majority of the men snored non-stop and banged on the door loudly throughout the evening. Impossible to sleep. All bunk beds from this hostel made squeaking noises. This hostel attract mainly mature guests. Receptionists were friendly and helpful.Paid £30-35 for a bed. Definitely not worth it even though location was convenient but impossible to sleep at night. Luggage storage £4 per suitcase per day

Very basic. Well located. But FAR too noisy because of this, horns & traffic all through the night. Got no sleep.Duvets lovely & warm. Towel hire £3, nowhere to dry hands in bathroom & no shelving/hooks.Bedside light was dead. Strip light for the rest of the dorm.Check in staff could have been a little more welcoming..

It's a nice place, very close to the St. Pancras/King's Cross Stations, staff was helpful, they gave me an early check-in and the my bed in a 6 bed dorm room was good, it was a bit flat but manageable. The ensuite toilet/shower was clean. The only obvious downside being the noise one is subjected to if you open the window. Another thing I'd recommend is curtains for privacy. The reception is open 24x7 and there are lots of cafes around the area so would definitely recommend.

Good location. Staff were friendly and accommodating at all hours. Not a great place for socialization as most kept to themselves and there weren’t any cozy common areas or social events. Facilities were mostly clean and well kept although the shower was 100% clogged. I appreciated the food and drink options being a little more affordable than the surrounding area.

**Google Review****Rating: 2 Stars**I had a very disappointing stay at this hostel. They clearly treat their guests differently, and it's especially bad for women /men of color. From the moment I arrived, the staff was rude and dismissive towards me and my group, while treating white guests with noticeably more respect. I was rudely awakened by the front desk staff, and the bakery staff acted as if I didn’t have money or was somehow less than them. It was shockingly poor customer service. I also witnessed another group experiencing the same mistreatment.Honestly, I think they pay for their reviews. There’s no way 4-5 people actually like this place. I’d ask for my money back, but it’s obvious this isn’t a place that cares about their guests. I’m writing this to warn others so you can make an informed decision. They even tried to force a beautiful girl into a room with all 40-year-old men after she paid for the all-girls suite. It’s unacceptable.I know people read reviews like this and think, “He must have been angry,” and you’re right—I am. But as you read this, ask yourself: do you really want to risk me being wrong or go to one of the other 70 hostels in the area that are rated over 4.3? Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place. You’ll thank me later.

Amazing location VERY close to St Pancras andKjngs Cross Stations I stayed in a 4 bed female only room and which was clean. Add ons such as bed selection and towel hire us very affordable at £3 a piece. I didn't get the breakfast as I had to leave very early in the morning, but also affordable. Food is served until 4/5am and the staff were very friendly.Note: Shower cubicle is incredibly small

Standard hostel located right opposite the British Library. Needs more staff to manage check in and the bar as there is often only one person.Housekeeping is the real problem, the cleaning lady comes in every few days to wipe down all surfaces in the dorm (including the toilet seat 😨) with the same cloth. No disinfectant used. I've stayed here 6 nights and the cleaning lady came to the room and did this twice in that time. Since I've been unwell I've stayed indoors instead of checking out the city much.Really put me off ever staying in a Kabannas again.
