Well. Where do I start.I’ll start with where I started - the reception. I was greeted by a quite silly man who wasn’t very useful. He failed to understand how to move guests between rooms in an efficient, and frankly, sensible manner. Maths much? The bed was comfortable. The showers/bathrooms were disgusting. Sodden and unhygienic. The staff continued to be useless throughout our stay.Won’t be back.

Had a good experience. Stayed for 2 nights and it was good. They have a kitchen facility downstairs, you can have coffee and if you need more contact reception they would provide a breakfast coupon which you can use. Bus stops are nearby and 2 underground stations as well which is walkable distance. It has a lot of shops near one underground station named BayWaters.

Spent a few nights here for a short trip to London. The rooms were clean, staff was proactive and co-travellers were mindful and considerate. Great location with easy access to public transport/Hyde Park. …

The worst experience I have ever had in London. The rooms were dirty, with cigarette butts thrown under my bed and a messy bathroom. Despite informing the staff and asking them to clean it four times, the cleanliness did not improve. To make matters worse, one night, I found someone else sleeping in my bed, and when I informed the staff, they were completely unresponsive. No curtains for privacy. No USB ports and no light for each bed. I wouldn't recommend this hostel to anyone.

You get what you pay for, and for sleeping it is good enough. TBF is mostly just having luck depending on the season and other guests if you enjoy your stay, as all facilities are shared. It is not the worker's fault, that the own guests who don't know how to clean after themselves or how loud they are. The staff is nice, and while they made some mistakes, they were also helpful fixing them.

Unfortunately an uncomfortable stay but great location and super friendly/kind staff. The building is dated and needs some renovations for noise reduction in the rooms specially the metal framed lockers underneath the beds, they are terrible. No curtains for privacy. USB ports and light for each bed.The bed mattress and pillow are not comfortable . The bed linen is of good quality. The bathroom is ok but the plumbing seems to cause a bad smell.Small kitchen, not so inviting.Too pricey for what offers.

Arrived late one night and was placed in a mixed dorm despite asking for a female only? I can only assume Hostel world auto changed it because their wasn't space to stay in the all female dorm for a full week, but the staff weren't very accommodating about it, and charged me the difference for a couple of nights in the all female dorm. The lounge space is dirty and not big enough to accommodate all the people that are there. And when you can fit in to the lounge you may have to awkwardly sit next to a sleeping STAFF member, despite their being a sign saying you can't sleep in there. The beds are awkward and you can't get your stuff out of your cupboard without disturbing the person sleeping above it. The bathroom is musty. There were arguments in my room that kept me up and when I complained to the staff about it they informed me that people had complained about one specific person before?? Okay?? Do something about it then pls?? Also no privacy curtain around the bed which should be standard. They should also split the dorms by age because I was so uncomfortable sleeping in the same room as men much older than me that I ended up checking out halfway through my supposed stay, and was not allowed any refund. I was too tired with the place to argue it. Do not stay here.

1st time staying at a hostel. Stayed here for 1 night. Came for St George's day celebrations. A little tricky to find as it doesn't say "Astor Kensington" outside so it was confusing.Hostel was VERY clean and organised.Staff were friendly and helpful.Great facilities including a kitchen with all utensils and utilities etc including free tea coffee and hot chocolate 😁 make sure you wash up and put away anything you use.Laundry room is available too😁People staying there were very respectful, bedrooms were silent.Great rules around the hostel. I would add just 1 more sign,in the hallways,to be quiet in the hallways as people may be sleeping.Great Location for the tube and busses😁Make sure you visit the natural history museum it's amazing ❤️I Would definitely stay here again❤️ thank you ❤️
