I required a hotel for a single night. Everything was good from the service to the room. I can only give four stars for this as the exterior windows needed a good clean. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the room clean. My only slight criticism is the breakfast. I would love to see more healthy options. Such as cheeses cold meats fruit bread rolls etc. The orange juice wasn't good just okay. The same could be said of the coffee machine, as the coffee definitely tasted burnt. But overall these are minor issues. Location is very good with tube and bus stops near by. I would definitely stay there again.

Booked a family room. It was so small couldn’t move in it. Room 309 No space for cases. Half the sockets in room didn’t work. Half then lights didn’t work Bathroom was filthy. I use travel lodges all the time and this has to be the worse I will definitely never stay here again.

I would stay again as it's location was hard to beat. The rooms facing away from the tracks got very little train noise.Pros- Breakfast was great value and staff were friendly. The location was fantastic.Close to the Tower, the underground, restaurants and a tescoCons- A trundle bed squeezed in next to a queen with barely room to walk does not make for a great family room.Rooms were stuffy, lacked AC , had no vent in the bathroom and there was no place to get ice to keep drinks cold.

Great location, round the corner from Tower Hill Tube station and close to the Tower of London and Tower Bridge.Rooms are basic and the breakfast is hit and miss (not everything available and juice feels watered down) but the staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble.Would recommend for a cheap break.

Earplugs essential!! Noisiest place I've ever stayed with a rail line a few inches from the window - think Blues Brothers! Rooms don't have air conditioning and windows only open 2 inches, so it was very stuffy in mild weather. It's probably more pleasant in the winter when you can close the double glazing to suppress some of the external noise. Otherwise, the room was clean, if tiny, and staff were welcoming, although overrun at times. Location is perfect for the Tower of London.

Arrived and was immediately told that I couldn't have the double room I'd booked as none were available. Was instead given a twin room with two very narrow single beds. Bed was very firm and due to this and the narrowness of the mattress, plus the warmth of the room (no air conditioning) and noise from the train track running past the window I didn't sleep well at all. Bathroom was tiny and not very clean - some spots of what looked like blood on the tiles above the sink and toilet.Breakfast is a buffet with quite a poor selection. This was my first visit to this hotel and my first time in a Travelodge for a number of years. I doubt I'll return.

Great location. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. Only downside was that the breakfast area was small and was very crowded both days, other than that we enjoyed our stay

Absolutely horrible place. Room was too hot (29degrees Celsius with windows closed when the outside temperature was 15degreas Celsius) so had to sleeps tig windows open despite facing a busy street and having an infant in the room. Hotel only able to provide 2 extremely noise fans. "Family room" is definitely too small for a family room and bathroom is not ideal with a very old shower head stuck on the wall and super slippery shower floor. Absolutely horrible stay for a family with a small child. Never again.

Check in was easy and the staff friendly. Our superior room was small and had no aircon, the room was so hot we had difficulty sleeping at night, especially as you could not open the windows due to the road noise and emergency vehicles all night long (I know this is city life but I don't need this on a relaxing holiday and aircon would solve this is issue).Location wise its a 2-3 minute walk to the tower of London and several tube lines are very close. We didn't eat here but several good eating establishments nearby. We would not stay here again.

The location of this hotel in central London is awesome but other than that I can’t recommend it.At check in they were very confused, did not find my friends room in the booking and said something about only having breakfast for one day instead of all the days (which turned out to be false). There is no free WiFi (only for 30 minutes). The rooms we stayed in were small and didn’t feel very comfortable. The hallways are very dark and narrow. You hear a lot of noises at night from the tube outside or people walking down the hallway. The rooms are not serviced during your stay, you can get additional towels on request. Originally they provided me one small and one large towel for four nights. The keycards are magnet stipe and had to be reset two times for me. I also saw other guests in the same situation.
