I went here a while back and didn’t post a review out of worry that they would see it and kick me out. There were razor blades in the shower, the toilet was dirty, the plug sockets were half out of the wall. We asked for rooms for five and they gave us three beds and a sofa. We were waiting for 2 hours outside and were only let in at around 11 at night. Please don’t go here, if you have a choice to make, this isn’t the one.

If I could give this review 0 stars I would. When we arrived at the hotel we found 12 other people in reception who had been waiting for over an hour without being seen to. There was only one member of staff at the hotel, a cleaner, who told us the receptionist was on his day off.Several guests tried calling the hotel contact number and were ignored. I spoke to Booking.com who also had their calls and emails ignored. We tried searching for a new hotel but room prices for that night were double. Luckily we were able to stay on family members sofas but I have no idea how the other guests we met that day got on.I understand that the hospitality industry is suffering, but to leave people stranded in a different city was appalling. With service like this, this hotel does not deserve to remain open.

I don’t do reviews but I feel I have to do this to save other good peoples well-being !!!I can only confirm the other poor reviews.Yes it was cheaper than others for the area, £207 for the night. But this is irrelevant when you get there to be told the room I had booked and paid (and had confirmation) through Booking.com was not available. The people at hotel just DONT CARE. It ruined what should have been a pleasant day / night as had no idea where we could go at late notice. The place is filthy. I even spoke to and had a text from the contact number manager earlier in the day when I was asking about closest tube stations and they could have mentioned it then. Appalling, disgusting, scam, shameful. I felt bad enough but felt even worse for the families who were travelling back to their own countries and were totally stranded.Booking.com must remove this from their site or you are just condoning what a farce is going on here.

This place is not even worthy of one star. Paid £600 in full upon booking and turned up to be told there were no rooms available. We were contacted by said ‘manager’ who told us a room would be available in the next 30 minutes. This did not happen. There were a number of other people sat outside on the pavement with their belongings and their children and practically laughed at by the man who was managing reception. No attempts to help any of us.This hotel (if you can call it that) is an absolute scam! Avoid at all costs.

This place should not be trading and how Booking.com are selling it on their site is unbelievable!Myself and daughter paid to stay here on the 2nd July. When we arrived there was no one on reception we was waiting ages then a man came running down the stairs with a young woman stood behind him!. We asked to check in and was then told there was no room for us! The money has been taken out of our bank and we asked why have they taken it and he said it's my first day I will ask the owner. We finally left and was stranded in London. My daughter has contacted booking.com for a refund. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL it is a scam!!

Absolute scam of a “hotel.” Shared kitchen and shared bathroom = hostel, sorry to say. And even then I’d use the term generously. The bathroom is horrific and the shower stall practically unusable. Inspectors were here during our stay and they asked us what we paid for the room. Even they couldn’t hide their shock.

Terrible! SCAM! DO NOT GO. There were 15 people waiting for over an hour. Cavali Hotel had no staff on reception. The owners ignored all calls and messages. I read that this had happened to other visitors so it was obviously a common occurence. They even ignored calls from booking.com! It was a terrible situation for the overseas visitors who had to find alternative accommodation. The owners should be ashamed. Booking.com and other hotel apps should remove this venue from their list immediately so that other visitors aren't scammed.

Do not waste your time or money. The rooms look good yeah? The walls are literally paper thin and each room is suffocating.Stayed here before its rebrand / new owners at a cost of £74 a night. To advertise as £250+ is absolutely criminal. This is the 3rd or 4th name change for the hotel as it constantly gets horrific reviews.Save your money, avoid this like the plague.

Pt 2(had a few name changes in the past apparently) I was assured she would be down in 5 minutes to clean our room so we could put our bags in, lock up and actually do something in London other than sit outside what is essentially a house/hostel/portal to hell. 1 hour later the actually very nice lady who was equally annoyed at Mohammed appeared, ready to clean our room (good luck to her) During cleaning a stranger things childs T-shirt was found, I wondered if the previous occupants had been taken to the upside down, never to be seen again but I digress, the entire check in process took roughly 4 hours so you can imagine how much fun we were all having, we finally left with several new people arriving to find out they had been conned. Once we returned to the hotel late evening there were still people outside and in the entrance hall, they were upset, we couldn't think why. So in summary, I'm writing to the mayor to ask to have this building demolished, don't stay here, don't risk it, don't think oooh sounds intriguing, it's not, if you are genuinely stuck, in London, and need somewhere to sleep, keys are in a desk, second drawer down, in a celebrations tin, I would however recommend paying 20p and staying in one of the public toilets anywhere else in London rather than here.

If I could rate this hotel 0 I would. We arrived and told they were double booked despite already paying in full, promised if we waited 30 minutes we would get another room. Never come, refused to give us an immediate refund despite sitting outside for 3 hours. DO NOT RISK IT. we read the previous reviews and thought it would be ok. IT ISNT. PLEASE DONT DO IT.
