I stayed for 1 month in the hotel and was very well received and welcomed. The receptionists with whom I had the most contact, Romani and Maged, besides Radu, were very attentive and made arrangements for me to have the best possible …

Not a great experience unfortunately; maybe just a bad room.Heating in room does not work properly however staff very kindly provided an electronic heater.Internet is only available in the lobby,No breakfast available in the hotel,Extractor fan doesn't work in the bathroom,Bathroom door doesn't close properly,The room smells like someone took a piss in a corner.Bed mattress are like jelly with dips in them.Shower water is warm not hot.No lift, we are on the top floor; 3 floors 6 flights of stairs, great for keeping fit!We could hear the guy in the room next door snoring most of the night and farting when he wasn't snoring. Well at least he's a happy customer :-)On the positive side: location is OK, staff are nice and try to be helpful, sheets clean, bathroom is small but clean and modern looking. There is free tea, coffee etc. In generous amounts.

We stayed for 2 nights at Mina House Hotel and it was alright. The location was great, close to Hyde Park, from Lancaster Gate and Paddington stations. |The bedroom was small but it was clean. They have changed towels everyday.|The toilet ceiling could be painted.|

We had a booking for 3 nights in this hotel but the bathroom was so dirty and the bed so old and uncomfortable that we had to book another one and leave after 1 night!|The entrance mat let you imagine the quality of the rooms... …

The rooms are a mixed bag. Some rooms have been renovated recently (in the past two years would be my guess) and are relatively clean with nice clean bathrooms, comfortable beds, modern Smart TVs (connect to the free WiFi and you're off to watch Netflix and all that) and excellent WiFi. But other rooms are dark, damp, smelly and downright dirty with moldy bathrooms. Add terrible WiFi reception and barely working TVs and you have the worst of the rooms they have to offer. The rooms are "cleaned" daily. They don't change the bedding every day (if at all during your stay) and they don't vacuum every day. But the bed is made daily and clean towels as well as complimentary bath gel and shampoo are also provided daily. There's also a water boiler and you get free tea and instant coffee. They don't have any rooms like a big lobby or a bar to meet up with others if you are there with your friends or family and are spread out over several rooms. Also be aware there are no lifts so if you have heavy suitcases, be prepared to carry them up a few flights of stairs. The manager was very friendly and very helpful. The location is very good with Paddington Station (Underground) nearby, near to Hyde Park and only a 15 minute walk to Oxford Street. It can be a bit noisy outside but as someone who lives in the city myself, it didn't bother me one second.I haven't seen airconditioning in any of the rooms so I'm guessing the rooms will be very hot in the summer. In short, value for money is depending on which room you get. If you get one of the old rooms, even with their budget prices it's going to be overpriced as there are much nicer hotels with comparable prices nearby. But if you get a new room, then you do get value for your money.

Small rooms but very comfortable, clean and good located hotel. Friendly stuff. Price is good for what you get. Big plus is a recently renovated bathroom. Rooms are warm even on wintertime. Only minus is that there is no elevator in the building.

The rooms are tiny, but clean. The bath was obviously new renovated. The stuff is friendly.I would give 4 stars so far, but it's very noisy. You hear every door slamming in this hotel and the walls are thin as paper. At night I could hear my neighbor snoring.
