Disgusting as in entering the property it was filthy and felt sleazy. We didn’t realise we were at the top and my daughter with a broken leg struggled. More so because the bannisters were loose and unsafe and again filthy. …

I wouldn't recommend this apartment to my worst enemy. The apartment was an absolute nightmare. Firstly, the door wouldn't even lock properly, forcing us to barricade it with furniture just to feel somewhat secure. The level of filth inside was beyond comprehension - touching anything made you want to immediately wash your hands. Stains covered the walls, and we were greeted by a cigarette butt and beer can on the floor upon arrival. To top it off, there was a gaping hole in the ceiling that let in blinding sunlight at the crack of dawn, making sleep impossible. When we brought up these issues to the owner, they couldn't care less and simply told us to leave the keys inside. Save yourself the disappointment and stay far away from this disgrace of an accommodation.

The biggest issue was poor communication. I had to pick up the keys from a nearby restaurant, and there was no one available to guide me to the flat. Figuring out the exact location of the room in the lobby was a challenge. The Wi-Fi connection was unreliable, mostly turned off, and only available at night. The bathroom lacked basic amenities like a bin and an extractor fan, which caused unpleasant odors to linger. The shower drainage was poor, leading to water accumulation. For a week's stay, only two towels were provided, and there was no information on how to obtain fresh bedding or additional towels. The presence of a TV was negligible due to its extremely small size.A major concern was the cleanliness and maintenance of the property. The skylight was full of fungus, posing a health risk, especially for those with compromised immune systems. Despite repeated requests, getting a receipt for my stay was a hassle. Freezer was full of ice and looks like was not defrosted in years. When paying nearly 500 for 5 night, one exoects to have better service. I regret, i didn't read any previous reviews on google otherwise i would have optes for a better place. Few good reviews are likely from friends and colleagues of the owner. On the positive side, the apartment's location is convenient, especially for Muslim guests, as it's surrounded by plenty of halal food options and a Muslim community. The boiler and heating system worked well, and essentials like a hair dryer and iron were provided and in good condition.Overall, while the location and some amenities were satisfactory, the lack of proper management, poor communication, and maintenance issues significantly affected my stay. It might be worth paying a little extra for a hotel with better facilities and a dedicated reception. Caution is advised for those considering this apartment

PLEASE, PLEASE do NOT book this accommodation. We booked this through Booking.com We arrived and had to wait quite a while to be let in, as it took ages for the phone to be answered.  …

Do not stay here! I booked the 3rd floor apartment as it had decent reviews on booking.com. Now I wasn't looking for top of the line I was paying lower price. But I was hoping for clean and safe even if not in the best condition. The pictures looked alright but when we got here it was dirty and falling apart. The baseboards are coming off, the kitchen cabinets are falling off, the shower head is duck taped, and the shower looks moldy. They didn't even give us a new roll of toilet paper and there is very little left. The walls are covered in dirt and there is a crack in the main bedroom with water stains in the ceiling. The beds seem decently clean so you might survive a night but with the pandemic I didn't feel safe in this unclean apartment and booked a hotel. The lock on the door didn't seem to shut well either. 😞

Well we'll at least have some funny stories to tell our grandchildren about this place...The room was not as spacious as the picture showed. The place was stuffy and the staircase quite steep. The bathroom was always cold as the window couldn't be closed completely. Mind the stairs, the hairs here and there and go back to the main room. Wow so our beds were comfortable if you like those matrasses where you sink in deep. The TV didn't work, neither did the kettle nor the heater. The glasses stunk and so did some plates.Well for the price, it was not worth it.We liked the location though, not the stairs.

Do not stay here. We found mice in our unit that had come in from a hole near the radiator. We saw at least four running around under the beds and other furniture. Apart from that, the unit (particularly the bathroom) was dirty, there was old food in the fridge, and the kitchen sink dripped.I usually am hesitant to take negative reviews at face value, but in this case they are completely accurate. Absolutely not worth the low cost and good location.

Only book if in dire need of someplace to sleep that is cheap. Because cheap it is.Very rundown, not the cleanest place I've ever been. At least the Beds were clean.Alas, rather spend the extra 40 quid to get a proper place, really.

I have travelled around the world and I have stayed in some questionable places, but this was by far the worst place I have ever stayed.||My friends and I slept with our clothes on, and immediately went home and showered after our stay. …
