The hotel doesnt have a sign on it so relied on google maps to find it. Had to wait 10mins at reception desk while recepionist was on his mobile in the back. We had origianally booked a room but were given a suite key so thouhjt we had been upgraded to then find the suite was in the basement. The suite stunk of cooking and had not been cleaned properly. The room itself looked bodged together with whatever furniture they could find and a tacky bed with springs poking through

Excellent location for travelling all over central London. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. Shower was warm and had good pressure. Downsides: In the basement so the room was very warm indeed! Also, the TV was at such an angel that you couldn't really view it from the bed. Also, only a shower, no bath.

Do NOT book if you want somewhere to stay! Room cancelled on us leaving us nowhere to stay!! After having booked a room months ago ready for an event in London. They emailed (didn't even have the decency to call) to say that they had cancelled our booking because of a business decision to close the hotel 2 months from now, at the time of the booking. Everywhere else is booked due to the event. Very poor for the hospitality industry!

Nice hotel, if slightly dated. The price reflects the hotel fairly. Its a decent place to stay and echoing the sentiment of the other reviewers, the reception staff are really polite and helpful. Not 5 star, but only because they need to sort out general maintenance. At this point, they seem to be covering over the cracks, but its starting to show and might be an issue in the future if they let go of the reigns.

This hotel is very poor in every single aspect. The room are really small and it is hard to maneuver even if alone. The rooms are very out-dated and the overall feeling is really poor. The employees working there look not motivated and they are not really willing to do any effort to improve your experience. Avoid the 4th floor, basically no windows and a very laud noise coming from the restaurants air conditioning which was a nice soundtrack of a perfect nightmare. I believe at this price point, above 150£, there are much better options out there.

My wife and I staid here to see the Great Neil Young a d Appalling Bob Dylan concert In Hyde Park. We had an economy room which came with on suite. It was perfectly adequate for our needs. It was however lucky we hadn't taken the cat as there was no where to swing her! On a positive note it seemed nice and clean, there was plenty of hot water and we slept well. As I said it ticked all the boxes for us. I would suggest booking early. We booked when we ordered our tickets through an online comparison site and got a price nearly half of the full price advertised making it exceptional value for London. Breakfast which you can order at the hotel seemed a bargain as well at £9. However it's a continental buttet with no hot food. All in all I'd stay again, if the price was right but I'd get breakfast elsewhere. Mind I won't be wasting my money on Dylan again!

An bsolute disgrace. This hotel was booked through booking.com in August 2021 for an event in July 22 . One week ago, we had an email to say the rooms were cancelled, with no explanation. We rang the hotel and they stated that they were closed for refurbishment, so I asked when the refurbishment has started and was told February!! The receptionist just kept saying sorry with absolutely no alternative given and zero help. This is an utter shambles and we are left trying to find three rooms for one of the busiest nights of the year in London.

Great location, decent price. The rooms are small and the hallways have a funny set up but that is expected in older buildings in London. That being said i would maybe spring for a bigger room. We stayed in a compact double and it would be fime for one person but it was small for 2.Staff were nice no complaints.

If you're looking for luxury, keep looking. But if all you need is a bed for the night that's close to Paddington Station and reasonably priced, then this will do the job.The hotel is slightly shabby, and laid out like a maze. My room once I'd located it was comically tiny, barely big enough for the single bed. But it was clean, there was a shower, toilet, TV, kettle crammed in there somehow. The bed was comfortable enough for a good night's sleep, which was all I needed.Good enough, but no more.
